Prima verblijf, beste locatie in de stad.
Pros:

Het is de enige accomodatie in Pangkalan Bun op dit niveau. Het is keurig, een extra bed kan tegen geringe extra kosten op de kamer en het ontbijt is goed.

Cons:

Berichten die vanuit Booking.com naar het hotel werden gestuurd zijn nooit beantwoord. De locatie is wat verder gelegen van het vliegveld en de haven, al stroomt het verkeer goed door in Pangkalan Bun.

Kamers zijn netjes, goed bed en warme douche

Cons:

Het ontbijt viel tegen. Als je later ontbijt ligt er nagenoeg niets meer. De koffie voor het ontbijt komt uit een slecht apparaat, die er lang over doet om 1 koffie te zetten. En die is niet goed.
Het ontbijt bijkopen kost 200.000 per persoon. Helaas door de ligging van het hotel word je gedwongen daar te ontbijten.

Really clean and friendly but bad food and lacking information
Pros:

Rooms were beautiful, really clean and very comfy. The whole place also smelt great, including the lifts. We were able to get early check in as members, which was nice. The location is great and the staff at the restaurant are great, as well as the staff by the door who help with luggage.

Cons:

The restaurants food was really bad. We dined there twice and didn’t enjoy either of our meals; we had the Mexican quasedillas one night and chicken Caesar and chicken schnitzel the other night. The latter was pretty good, but the quasedillas didn’t taste great at all and the loaded fries which we ordered were just oven cooked frozen chips with some sort of cheese cream and gherkins. For a restaurant of Mercure’s calibre, we really expected the food to be much better given the significant price premium. Would definitely recommend eating outside of the hotel, as the food also took a while to come out.

We also felt that the information provided at check in was lacking. We had to go to the spa to enquire about the sauna, as we received no information about that and also couldn’t figure out why our key wouldn’t let us access the second floor to go to the restaurant. A kind member of staff informed us that there was a private event and so access restricted , but this could have been good to know during check in. We also felt that paying extra for the sauna was a little over the top, given the price premium we already paid for the hotel and its amenities. The pool looked great, though!

Hotel d'alt nivell. Molt bones instal.lacions, incloent gimnàs i petita piscina. Població senzilla però encantadora.

Tolles Personal, schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht und ruhig.

Cons:

Wir waren im hauseigenen Restaurant essen. Leider war das Essen beim servieren kalt, da es min. 5 Minuten an der Bar zum servieren stand.
