Swimming pool is the highlight, room a disaster
Pros:

The hotel is really nice; the location is best in the town. It is super clean, smells super nice, looks super luxurious. Spottles clean, nice breakfast, free afternoon tea was fabulous as well as the views from the swimming pools. The booth swimming pools were the highlights of the hotel.

BUT:

Cons:

Nice room design, which is charming at first. Then you realize, you have absolutely nowhere to put your things, there is not a single shelf or drawer in the whole room. ( If I don’t count the ones which are more than 2 meter high, or those at the bottom)
And so the room looks like a dump, because your things are spread out everywhere and you are still living out of a suitcase... The same with the bathroom. Nice design, but you have to accept that your roommate is looking at you, the toilet and shower have a common door, so if one is taking shower and the other is taking crap, one of them can't close the door.... Plus, if you are in the shower, they can look at you even from the opposite building, which is about 5 m away...I don’t understand that design feature probably….
You can't wash your face in the sink because the sink faucet gets in your way and half of the water ends up on the bathroom floor anyway, because the sink is so small...
In the double room, one person does not have the possibility to charge his/her phone and there is no bedside table. I guess the people don’t need it in a design hotel...
Important is the nice design underneath all your mess.... Enjoy it the first 3 minutes of your stay, you will never see it like this again...

Does the designer ever stay in any hotel, to understand what people need in a room?

It is such a pity for such a nice hotel, that the rooms are actually practically uninhabitable….

A great place for a relaxing holiday
