Pros:

Beautiful rooms, super clean, nice bathrooms.

Cons:

Not particularly well located, beautiful old palace but ugly out-buildings. Totally overpriced breakfasts (and not always very good) @20€, albeit in a fabulous ballroom.

Wonderful stay.

Nous avons passé un week-end prolongé magnifique et reviendrons volontiers.
Pros:

Le personnel était très aimable et à l'écoute pour des demandes spécifiques. L'ancien bâtiment est magnifique; les travaux de réhabilitation ont donné un résultat impressionnant. La salle de restaurant est particulièrement belle. Très bonne situation géographique: calme, pas loin du metro qui va à l'aéroport, pas loin des attractions touristiques au centre-ville, et plein de petits restos/bars à proximité.

A disappointing Porto hotel experience
Pros:

Nice old palace made into a ‘smart’ hotel from the outside. Breakfast room is very grand and there is a small pool outside.

Cons:

The location was disappointing; the description said it was very central but it was not, it was about 20 mins walk away. There was a terrible sewer smell in our bathroom and I was told by reception that this was because the hotel house was old! It was an unbearable smell.
The breakfast was very poor; I joined my dad to see if I would join him for the 20 euro bfast and I’m so glad I didn’t! The coffee was undrinkable and the eggs smelt off - he had to make a complaint.
The staff were not very friendly throughout.
I would not rate this hotel.

Pros:

Localização e o palácio muito bonito.

Cons:

Toalhas fracas. Amenities fracas. Serviço não adequado a um hotel 5 estrelas. Pequeno almoço muito fraco, ha hoteis de 4 estrelas com pequenos almoços melhores.
