Os quartos são confortáveis e limpos. O check in foi fácil e rápido.
O Hotel tinha todo o potencial de ser espectacular mas infelizmente, nas 2 noites que ficamos aconteceram muitas coisas negativas.
No restaurante: O mais grave foi a intoxicação alimentar da minha mãe devido à açorda de camarão que comeu no restaurante do hotel. Mais ninguém ficou doente, apenas ela e temos a certeza que foi da açorda. Deixámos esse aviso na recepção e claro que nos estragou 2 dias de férias devido à saúde debilitada dela sempre a vomitar.
A tábua de queijos e chouriço apresentada ao jantar aparece no buffet do pequeno almoço. Dá a sensação que estamos sempre a comer restos deixados.
Ao pequeno almoço pedi que ficássemos numa mesa junto dos vidros para vermos melhor a vista (o motivo principal de escolhermos este hotel) e foi nos recusado, pois a mesa já estava posta para o almoço. Tínhamos de ficar na mais distante. Claro que reclamei e deixaram-nos ficar mais próximo da vista mas foi uma situação muito desconfortável.
Nos quartos:
O chão da casa de banho fica cheio de água devido à inclinação mal construída do chão do chuveiro.
O chão da varanda estava sujo. A sanita entupiu sem nenhuma causa aparente (mas foi resolvido pelo staff).
Escolhemos um quarto com vista para o rio que era absolutamente maravilhoso, contudo o outro quarto que reservamos para o resto da família ficava nas traseiras e a vista era muito feia (fábrica de papel, um buraco gigante na calçada do hotel e caleira da chuva pendurada e a cair).
A piscina só está aberta no verão, o que foi desapontante pois durante os dias que estivemos lá esteve imenso calor e a nossa filha estava desejosa de ir para a piscina. Nem sequer há acesso aos jardins para passear ou usufruir do sol com um café.

Rooms quite clean and extremely quiet, a good place to stay away from big cities. Very good restaurant with traditional portuguese food with high quality.

The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely amazing!
The breakfast was good and the staff friendly, rooms were modern, clean and well equipped, and importantly for us, there was plenty of free parking. Both rooms had a large balcony with a mechanical blind, which fully blocked light during the night. There is a large pool and space for sunbathing in the inner yard (not open during winter though).
There could have been a bar area slightly separate from the restaurant, and the restaurant could have had slightly cozier lighting (this is nitpicking, it was fine as is). Also, the bathroom was somewhat cold, the heating didn't quite reach there.
