We really enjoyed our stay at Mambo Beach Resort. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the location was perfect quiet, relaxing and close to beautiful spots around Nusa Penida. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help.

Usine fric: aucun écart sinon c’est tout de suite payant… pas rencontré ce type de rapport jusqu’à présent en Indonésie ! Music live tous les soirs en face des chambres : en soit c’est cool mais avertissez dans le descriptif non ???
Sortie snorkelling maintenu alors que le temps était pourrie, d’ailleurs la 2ème « plongée « arrêtée au bout de 10min, trop dangereux : surtout ne pas perdre de fric en remboursant !!!

房間pillow 太厚，而且很硬；
浴室去水很慢，可能有住客沖洗充滿沙粒衣物？
浴室水壓比正常低；
餐廳很多烏蠅，早餐又要分開三碟上菜，忙著要趕走烏蠅，如果有蓋可以蓋住食物會比較理想。
Very nice staff and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated.
It is very noisy. the hotel is situated between the main road, so from 6 am. on there is loud noice from the traffic, on the other side of the room there is the restaurant, where they play music starting at 10 am. and have live-music (nice for the restaurant but very loud in the rooms) from 6-9.30 pm.
Our stay at Mambo Beach Resort was ultimately disappointing and, in our opinion, poor value for money. While the location is good for beach access, that was really the only notable positive.
Unfortunately, the resort felt overpriced for what was offered. The breakfast was particularly poor, with a very limited and low-quality selection that didn’t reflect the nightly rate. Noise was a major issue throughout our stay. Evenings were extremely loud due to music from both Mambo and the neighbouring bar, and if you’re allocated an upstairs room, you hear everything. This was made far worse by the room design - there are large gaps around the French doors and balcony, meaning the room is not sealed from outdoor noise or the elements in any meaningful way. Motorbikes passing at night were also very loud and regularly disrupted our sleep.
There were also maintenance issues. The WiFi was unreliable, and the air conditioning unit repeatedly spat dirty water whenever it was switched on, sometimes throughout the night. As the unit is positioned directly above the bed, this was particularly unpleasant. After being kept awake late into the evening by loud music, we were then woken at 8:30am by construction work starting in the room directly below us, which felt inconsiderate.
Overall, this was the least relaxing and yet most expensive place we stayed during our time in Indonesia. For the same nightly cost, there are far more comfortable, better-managed resorts in more central areas of the island. If we were to return, we would choose one of those instead.
Loved watching the sunset there every day — such a beautiful spot, and the staff are lovely and friendly.
(1) The live music can get extremely loud at night, which isn’t ideal when you’re just trying to sleep or relax in your room.
(2) The room cleanliness also needs more attention — even after changing, the pillow covers still had stains, which was disappointing.
(3) Got bombarded with confirmation messages every day, even though we’d already confirmed via WhatsApp ages ago. When we followed up, the staff said their system was hacked — but the messages kept coming almost daily before the trip. 😓
I booked this hotel for just one night while passing through to another island. The hotel is in a good location, and the restaurant is nice with a sea view.
Unfortunately, my room was quite noisy due to the hotel’s thin (gyprock) walls, and there was very loud noise coming from the neighboring hotel. The room also had a strong, unpleasant smell, especially in the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable to use.
On a positive note, the hotel provided a free drop-off at the pier the next day, which was appreciated.

the location is superb! hardly 5 mins from the port.
it is mainly an oceanfront cafe that also has rooms for stay.
the best part is the vibe they have setup, great decor, plants, overall aesthetic is on point.
the backdoor of your room opens up to a common pool, and beyond that you can see the cafe area and ocean behind that.
we stayed here in jan, and it was where most people were, most other cafes etc around were sort of empty/dead vibe.
good cocktails. food we didn't like that much.

the one girl who we met during our checkout was the only person who gave us trouble. maybe she was having a bad day or maybe is like that always.
if it was not for her, it was an exceptional experience. i would still recommend this place to stay and even to chill.
Very good staff and best place they amazing dive team
Breakfast is ok. Eggs came out like rubber and stone cold, first time I've ever sent back. But I had a beautiful scenery to take my mind off it. I loved the whole vibe of the hotel with lots of greenery and the view really is pretty. Smack on the beach for morning walk is great and sitting in the beanbags at night to watch the sun go down is just lovely. It's close to a couple of restaurants if you want to go out. Having a scooter is perfect to get around and you can hire right out the front. Staff are always fabulous . P.S. The rooms are beautiful and so pretty.
The extra loud singer at night. You can hardly hear yourself think from the balcony. We were exhausted from diving all day, starting at 6am by 9.30pm you just want to go to bed. You are awaken very early in the morning by traffic and if not, it's barking dogs. There are a lot of dogs in the area.
