Nous avons eu froid dans notre chambre et les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorisées donc nous avons été gênés par les autres voyageurs.

Prachtig guesthouse met fantastisch ontbijt en heerlijke tuin
Pros:

Ontzettend uitgebreid ontbijt met een hele lieve hardwerkende dame die alles tot in de puntjes verzorgde. Mooie tuin en prachtig zwembad. Heerlijke regendouche en leuke inrichting van de kamer en het huis.

Cons:

Wij hadden helaas een kamer waar geen raam open kon en alles erg naar vocht rook.

Eine wunderschöne Woche auf Madeira
Pros:

Außergewöhnliches, kleines Boutique Hotel, günstig aber versteckt gelegen und Dank der vorab erhaltenen Video Beschreibung gut zu finden. Die Chefin des Frühstücksbüffets Berta ist das Herz der Anlage.

Cons:

The villa is very old, the pictures does not show that. The check in was done by non English speaker so it was hard to understand. No special view from the villa, especially not from all the rooms. We got the 1 room which is facing the back side of the villa and the parking way.
The room and the shared area has a bad dusty and moldy smell as well as the bed itself.
The breakfast area has only one long table shared with all the other guests, the table is not clean and full of ants.

Gorgeous location, incredible garden and breakfast, let down by the bathroom
Pros:

Breakfast was good, would have appreciated fresh juice rather than from concentrate, I picked this hotel based on the high breakfast rating. Bertha (apologies if I have misspelled her name) was fantastic and very friendly. The location is gorgeous, we loved sitting out in the garden after hikes.

Cons:

Our room (no. 2), had a bad smell from the toilets, the bathroom was also very cold and damp, with towels not drying properly and the walls looked on the verge of developing mould. It also looks to be damaging a lovely oil painting in the bathroom.
The honesty bar, whilst a nice idea felt like very poor value, €4 for a beer I can get in the local shop for less than €2. If the prices were more aligned I would have happily used it, but opted to buy my own and bring them back to the hotel.
