Geweldige accommodatie op een paradijselijke plek; de zonsondergang was nog nooit zo mooi
Pros:

Geweldige accommodatie op een prachtig eiland. Het uitzicht vanuit de bungalow, het heerlijke grote bed, de badkamer; alles is in een woord prachtig. Het personeel wachtte ons op met waterschoenen om vanuit de boot aan land te komen. Je wordt echt welkom geheten en als een vorst behandeld. Een echte aanrader is de boottocht langs 5 Gili eilanden. We hebben tijdens het snorkelen meerdere schildpadden gezien en prachtige koralen. Ook leuk om te doen is een wandeling via de trap over de rots en langs de rots weer terug.

Les tarifs du restaurant et des boissons sont exorbitants pour l’Indonésie alors que la qualité laisse à désirer, le qualité du service est moyenne voir mauvaise (de la part des serveurs du restaurant), présence de nombreuses fourmilles dans la chambre d’hôtel

Beautiful relaxing island escape with amazing views and super friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were amazing and friendly, the villas were superb and the pool and vista were great. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Great to relax and no TV was a positive. Each villa had a great view so you could relax on your veranda.

Cons:

Difficult to swim in the sea and snorkel from the venue. Minor points for a family villa but a 2nd mirror to make getting ready for a family of 4 easier, and the shower water pressure / drain could be the improved but appreciate hard on a small island. But these are minor points that are far outweighed by the positives.

Prachtig resort op een rustige locatie op Asaham. Mooi, groot zwembad. Bungalows zijn sfeervol, netjes en groot. We hebben hier drie heerlijke dagen gehad!

Bel endroit mais beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité proposée.
Pros:

L’endroit est très beau. Une belle plage déserte mais une arrivée et un départ rendu difficile par les coraux morts qui blessent facilement… belle ile dont on peut faire le tour facilement à pied.

Cons:

J’ai pris une chambre avec piscine privée. Elle était difficilement inaccessible car pas au niveau du sol. Un chemin passait entre la piscine et la chambre, vive le caractère privé. La vue était plutôt sur les parties techniques sous la dalle de béton de la chambre. Les chemins ne sont pas terminés. Plusieurs accessoires manquants comme une jarre d’eau pour se rincer les pieds du sable alors qu’elle était présente dans d’autres chambres. La poignée de porte branlante, de la rouille au sol dans la salle de bain, un store déglingué. L’eau chaude intermittente et internet très faible débit. L’endroit est sympa et le personnel est très gentil. Mais les prix sont très élevés. En comparaison avec plusieurs hôtels de luxe à Bali et Lombok, celui ci est bcp trop cher pour ce qui est proposé. 307€ la nuit pour cela, c’est exorbitant.

The perfect place for a romantic simple, beach-like resort but with elegance and five-star appeal.
Pros:

Loved staying at Bleu Mathis. It is a beautiful, serene and stunning place with tasteful wooden interiors and a delicious menu. Loved the pool and the cocktails too. The view of the ocean from our balcony was stunning! The youthful staff were so accommodating and friendly. We were sorry to say goodbye! Thank you to everyone who made our stay memorable. 🥰

Cons:

Lack of shade for the sunbeds. Only one or two had the shade of a big tree. I think some of the sunbeds with wooden roofs could have a shade cloth over them. But it’s fine if you want lots of sun of course!

That said, there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The facilities are showing their age and would really benefit from an upgrade to meet guests’ expectations. Unfortunately, the food was also quite disappointing, with both the quality and variety falling short.

There were also a few small but important details that were overlooked. For example, there were no hand towels provided in the bathroom, and the room had an ant infestation, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.

Overall, while the excellent staff left a positive impression, the hotel has significant room for improvement in its facilities, housekeeping, and dining experience. Addressing these issues would make a big difference and better match the level of service provided by the team.

Wonderful location, picture perfect, amazing staff.
Pros:

The place is absolutely stunning, the staff goes above and beyond, food is good. Manager Jacky runs the place in a very pleasant way and him and his staff are a solid team; nice to see. The bungalows are gorgeous and the views stunning. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful and the pool is perfect. We stayed five nights with our baby and had a wonderful relaxing time and even managed to get some dives in. (recommend Oceanway dive center)

Cons:

What’s with the luxaflex in the room?! They break and bent and do nothing to make the room dark to sleep. Let alone they give you an office feel and that is the last thing you want being in this gorgeous remote location. Get some proper curtains in to complement the beautiful bungalows

A unique and unforgettable island paradise with breathtaking sunsets, outstanding hospitality and a truly relaxing atmos
Pros:

We had an exceptional stay at Bleu Mathis Gili Asahan. The location is truly unique, directly on a quiet beach with one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. The resort is small-scale, peaceful and beautifully designed, creating a very special atmosphere. The rooms were stylish, spotless and very comfortable, and the swimming pool was lovely.

The staff were incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant served delicious food. We especially enjoyed the romantic beachfront dinner with live music during sunset. Another major highlight was the wide range of activities that could be arranged directly from the resort, including snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding and island trips. Everything was very well organized.

Cons:

There were honestly very few things to improve. If we had to mention one small point, it would be that a little more attention to the gardens and landscaping would make the resort even more beautiful. Other than that, everything exceeded our expectations
