Pros:

Hotel di lusso, tutto perfetto e meraviglioso con la piscina che si illumina alla sera ed anche jacuzzi.
L'hotel più bello di quella parte di Sumba.
Staff delizioso, ci tornerei sempre!

Gutes Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens, ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vor dem Abflug. Das Personal ist nett und die Zimmer sind in Ordnung.

Cons:

Sehr laut und man hört vieles aus den umliegenden Zimmern und vom Flur, sowie von draussen.

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel all'ultimo minuto, preferendolo a un posto che avevamo prenotato sulla spiaggia, dopo l'allerta tsunami del 15 agosto di Flores. Anche se l'isola non era interessata ai terremoti e all'allerta tsunami, avevamo paura di dormire comunque sulla spiaggia e alla fine è stato meglio così, perché anche se dalle foto può sembrare una struttura fredda, in realtà quando sei dentro vedi tutti i panorami intorno. Inoltre il ristorante all'aperto è davanti la piscina, in un ambiente molto verde e curato. Tutto l'arredamento è di design moderno e allo stesso tempo tradizionale. Il cibo è molto buono sia a colazione che a cena. Ma la cosa che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stato decisamente il letto!!! È stata la dormita più bella e comoda di tutta la nostra vacanza in Indonesia! E per quanto riguarda la nostra paura per un eventuale terremoto, la struttura è recente e ben costruita, con le scale di emergenza vicino alle camere.

Estadia razoavel no ‘unico’ ‘hotel’ em Sumba
Pros:

O hotel era bonito, o staff simpatico, o ginasio embora nao tenha utilizado parecia bem equipado.

Cons:

As almofadas do quarto sao gigantes, nao acredito que alguem consiga dormir nelas. A agua da sanita da casa de banho nao parava de correr. A existencia de uma porta entre quartos, mesmo que fechada nao evita que se ouca o barulho do outro quarto ao lado. Pequeno almoco fraco. Staff fala muito pouco inglês, ou quase nada, mas acho que é uma generalidade em toda a ilha de Sumba.

Avoid if at all possible
Cons:

We booked two rooms and one of them was half a construction site when we checked in. The whole wall had been stripped of paint and had been freshly plastered. No comment was made about it until we asked to be moved to a “normal” room.

There are about 3-4 kind and polite team members, including the manager. The rest of them do not speak any English or have any inclination to be helpful. Some of the rudest most incompetent staff I’ve encountered in Indonesia. The two gentlemen taking turns being in charge of the restaurant are particularly rude. The seafood nasi goreng gave me a severe food poisoning for 4-days. The chefs idea of a serving seafood is taking a whole uncleaned jumbo shrimp, head tail legs crust etc, and then frying it in thick batter and serving this ginormous blob next to the rice. The lobby was so filthy that by the 3rd day I couldn’t take it anymore and invited the receptionists to see the dirt on the carpets. They ooh-d and aah-d and said “oh yes, this needs vacuum”. Of course they never actually organised the vacuum until I myself called housekeeping. It’s a hotel playing at being a hotel. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely Hotel . great breakfast and dinner

Chose this hotel as it was the best in town and closer to airport. Took 20mins to reach airport.very little shops near by
