Es una experiencia unica. El hotel es ricamente decorado con antigüedades. Prácticamente te alojas en un museo. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El desayuno, aunque es de elegir un plato entre varias opciones dulces o saladas, para nosotros era más que suficiente para empezar el día. Nos encanto.

Hôtel authentique comme je n’en avais jamais vu. C’est un style, mais ça vaut le coup d’œil. Personnel au petit soin. Tranquille à l’écart du bruit.

If you are looking for a unique stay. Go here. It is in a very local area of town. We didn’t explore too much. The best meal of our whole trip we had in a restaurant right next to the hotel called Omah Dhuwur Coffee & Dining.

Man lebt nicht in einem Hotel, sondern in einem Museum. Der Besitzer hat Kunstschätze aus der ganzen Welt hier her gebracht und stellt sie jedem zu Verfügung, der hier übernachtet. Weitere Museumsbesuche in der Stadt kann man sich getrost sparen, hier gibt es mehr und besseres.
Und obendrein sind auch noch Personal inklusive Manager enorm freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Leider haben wir zu spät von diesem Hotel erfahren, sonst wären wir viel langer geblieben. Hier war definitiv der Höhepunkt unserer Reise durch Java.

This is not just a hotel, it's an experience. An experience of staying inside a museum. Everything you sit on, sleep on has a history and a story. I was told that the bed in my room was made in 1843. The hotel has its own museum hosting a collection of different centuries and art pieces across the world. In my personal experience, try to connect with the hotel manager to understand the history of each of the artifacts. I could easily spend learning the history of each artwork and lose my sense of time. For me another highlight was that they have a fully functional gym and protein rich less greasy breakfast. I would definitely love to visit here again probably for a longer time.

We stayed for three nights at this amazing hotel, and it truly is a hidden gem! It’s such a unique place, filled with history.

The manager was very friendly and even gave us a little tour of the hotel, explaining the history of the place and some of the interesting objects on display. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Although the hotel is located a little further from the city centre, we really enjoyed the location. It’s quieter and feels much more like a local experience. There’s also a street food market nearby, which was a really nice experience and a great way to explore the local area.

We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place!

L'hôtel est tout simplement magnifique et le personnel est au petit soin pour vous. C'était vraiment une super expérience. J'y suis resté trois nuits et c'était exceptionnel.
Les services de conciergerie y sont très bons.
Le jardin est magnifique, on peut y prendre un petit déjeuner tranquillement.
Il y a également un musée que l'on peut visiter gratuitement quand est client de l'hôtel.
Mention spéciale au manager de l'hôtel qui fait son maximum pour que votre séjour soit parfait.
Vous pourrez trouver également un large choix d'activités à faire organisées par l'hôtel, de la plus simple, c'est-à-dire du massage à la plus extravagante, saut en parachute, par exemple.

Such wonderful place… should be illegal seriously ahaa ! Honestly, I’ve been traveling for years but sleeping in.. I don’t know how to call it but such a majestic place was unique. I could stay there for a month, easy. Thanks to all the staff, who was amazing and a special one to Eka, who tried her best to help me for my departure (train, taxi etc), she was so friendly and lovely. A 10/10 hotel and much more !

Trés bel endroit, qui vous transporte dans le temps ; trés calme et c'est un vrai plus dans l'agitation de Yogyakarta, même dans le quartier de Kota Gede, que je recommande fortement par rapport au centre ville trés bruyant
Déjeuner sur place possible et restaurant à proximité
Possibilité d'emporter son petit déjeuner en cas de départ plus tôt
Atelier bijou en argent super à 10 mn à pied

Dit hotel is in feite een museum waar je kunt overnachten. Het staat vol met kunsthistorische objecten; meubels, standbeelden, schilderijen en allerhande houtwerk. Dit kan in het begin een beetje overweldigend zijn, maar je raakt er snel aan gewend. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en met name de manager doet er alles aan om het verblijf zo persoonlijk mogelijk te maken.

Achterin is een tuin waar je rustig een boekje kan lezen. Daar zit ook een gym inclusief muay thai boxing instructeur die erg vriendelijk is en het leuk vond om lessen te organiseren.

Het eten is goed en ze hebben er heerlijke koffie. De locatie is ook top - buiten het drukke centrum, maar voldoende centraal om snel de reuring op te kunnen zoeken.

Kortom: sterk aan te raden, vooral voor mensen die interesse hebben in de (koloniale) geschiedenis van Java en kunst.

Heel uniek verblijf net buiten de binnenstad van Yogyakarta. Enorm vriendelijke en behulpzame personeelsleden aan zowel de receptie, bar en het ontbijt. Zeker verblijven wanneer je in de buurt bent!

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Der hintere Garten wäre eigentlich ganz nett gewesen, leider waren Bauarbeiten im Gange.
