Uno dei migliori hotel in cui siamo mai stati
Pros:

Semplicemente favoloso. Un hotel immerso nella natura con uno staff molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo adorato la nostra suite, con accesso diretto alla piscina. Anche dal punto di vista del cibo era tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo veramente apprezzato l’attenzione ai dettagli dello staff.

Pros:

Le cadre, l'hôtel et le personnel était absolument parfaits. Nous avons séjourné une nuit seulement et regrettons de ne pas être restés plus longtemps. Le lieu est absolument magnifique, bien entretenu et paisible. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse hors norme, dans une ambiance bienveillante et sincère. Le petit déjeuner est divinement bon et le choix y est varié. Côté activités, des vélos ainsi que des équipements pour le snorkeling sont mis gratuitement à disposition. Merci pour cette expérience ressourçante sur l'île de Gili Air, nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Enjoyed every minute of our stay and we loved the staff.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds well taken care of and the room was lovely. All the staff were so warm, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and we highly recommend. The location was ideal, close to everything.

The bed was a little too hard for our liking

Ein wunderschönes Hotel – Bali pur! Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt. Einen ganz besonderen Dank möchten wir dem Mitarbeiter Ben Ben aussprechen, der uns während unseres Aufenthalts so großartig geholfen hat. Wir kommen absolut gerne wieder!“

Perfect girls trip

Exceptional staff that couldn’t do any more for you. So friendly and made an effort to learn all our names which gave such a lovely personal touch.

Eine wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage mit tollem Personal, schöner Atmosphäre und sehr guter Lage – wir haben uns rundum w

Eine wirklich schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Alles war sehr sauber und mit vielen Pflanzen liebevoll gestaltet. Man hat sich direkt wie in einem kleinen Naturparadies gefühlt.
Das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders schön waren die Swim-up-Zimmer, die für einen ganz besonderen Aufenthalt gesorgt haben.
Auch die Lage ist sehr gut und eignet sich perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Poorly designed, uncomfortable and over-priced for what you get

Breakfast was passable. Staff were nice - beautiful and lovely Indonesian people.

Cons:

Stairs literally fell apart as we walked on them. Outside Jacuzzi "pool" was so incredibly small. The whole room was so dark, could barely see anything. It has an open toilet to the whole room place which is so weird - no privacy at all and same for the shower, there;s no door or curtain. The AC was such a cheap and low powered AC, that even on Max, the whole place was hot and uncomfortable - it made it difficult to sleep. Hooks next to the shower literally fell off when i used them. Wi-fi was slower then my mobile internet. There was a literal red ant infestation. The design is so weird of the apartment that several times i hit my head on the low protruding ceiling.

Not the relaxed escape we'd hoped for.
Pros:

Absolutely stunning space, amazing breakfast and very attentive staff. Highly recommend the family dinner evenings.

Cons:

We stayed in a double poolside room for our honeymoon and had requested a quiet room.
Unfortunately, a family of FIVE was staying in the suite above ours.

Despite the description, the rooms are far from soundproofed, and we were woken up between 6 am and 7 am each morning by stomping and banging doors upstairs, which physically shook the whole room. We flagged this to the staff, who were very apologetic and said they would speak to the family, but this made no difference. One morning, we were woken by 3 small children shouting at 7am DIRECTLY outside our balcony door.

We travelled around Bali for our Honeymoon, and Gili Air was meant to be our most relaxed spot; however, the constant noise kept us from fully using our room or relaxing. The banging was deafening at times. Given the relaxed and secluded nature of this hotel, we strongly believe it's not suitable for families with small children. We shared this feedback with the staff at the time.

There were also clearly some teething issues with the rooms in the new area. There are gaps in the doors to outside and no mosquito nets meaning bugs can be an issue. The water didn't drain from the shower properly and would flood the bathroom while in use. I also believe that the noise from upstairs could still be an issue due to the structure of the villas, even with adults in the property.
