The breakfast was a big let down
Pros:

Very poor even when we sent to the royal hotel the buffet breakfast was ice cold except for the eggs same same each day and buffet not suitable for westerns the staff need to be trained in the use of chaffing dishes the sterno need to burn for the whole of breakfast time not just for half a hour I tried to explain to the staff my background was good and beverage until I retired

Lovely little traditional hotel in the back streets of Legian
Pros:

Excellent value for money in this traditional Hotel near the Padma precinct. Quiet location with Darling cafe next door and only 100m stroll to Warung Kartini and the retro Dubs bar. The Legian shops and beach also only a 10 minute walk away. Rooms are small but clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. Meals were good. Staff very friendly. Nice pool and pool towels.

Cons:

At least 4 more sun beds would get closer to satisfying the guest needs.
Walking back after 10 pm at night was a little risky as the dark laneways weren’t well lit.

Staying here brought down the whole trip.
Pros:

Loved the location. Super close to garlic lane and the beach.

Cons:

Reception staff were not welcoming or friendly at all.
Rooms rundown to the max. Showers broken,tvs didn’t work. No kettle but mugs offered.Be very careful when staying. Take photos of any damage when you arrive because you may be accused of breaking something that you didn’t and not let go without paying. Only stay here if you are highly desperate. Sleeping on the beach would be better.

Anazing stay!
Pros:

Everything. The atmosphere is amazing and the pool is majestic. Friendly locals and staff :)

Cons:

The bathroom was very dirty and needed extra deep cleaning.

Awesome stay
Pros:

It was very clean and everything worked it just didnt feel very secure in your room with wooden logs to secure door and a bit out of the way otherwise service was excellent.

The staff were great!!

Cons:

The excess of black mould in the beds and all of the pillows and air-conditioning which was highly toxic,especially to their elderly guests, children and myself who has suffered from a previously punctured lung.
1 room didn't even lock properly.
The fact that the supervisor didn't even have the decency to front up with my refund and apologise...making the staff do what should have been his responsibility. 2 rooms in 2 nights too many!!!
Personally I deserved a full refund!

Pros:

Great location. Quiet at night. Pool was cold but refreshing. Bed was comfy and pillows were great.

Cons:

My bathroom was not very clean. Bath /shower was badly stained.

L'hygiène laisse un peu à désirer (serviettes) et traces au sol inlavables. De plus, eau chaude qui fonctionne par intermittence
