The property doesn’t exist

SCAM. Cannot book this hostel through Booking.com. I arrived and owner told me that he has tried to remove the listing from Booking.com but it is still up. Was not given a room and my money was still taking. Please avoid and don’t make my mistake.

The place is a scam, they don’t exist as Aby bungalow. They will try to make pay around 15€ per night and the place look horrible.

ITS A SCAM! i arrived there and there is a hostel but it’s called Abi Bungalow and backpacker and it’s not the one listed on booking. The owner told us he keeps getting people from booking asking for rooms that don’t actually exist. The owner of the real hostel was very friendly and helpful and we managed to rent a room in his hostel.

The owner was unfriendly, as I had confirmed 4 rooms in Booking.com app, but the owner insisted to give us 3 rooms with the paid price (as i know, wrong listed price in Booking.com) At last, owner gave us 4 rooms without paying any extra.
His staffs are fine, helpful to help me to solve issues. Thanks to them.

No complaints

The descriptions of the room online are completely false. I booked a “double room” and was put in a single top bunk above a double bed with a couple staying beneath me- the description clearly implies that I would’ve had my own double bed and it wasn’t just me who thought this as when the couple arrived they were shocked to see they had a roommate too. The “en suite bathroom” is a dingy little shower, no toilet or sink so can hardly call it a bathroom. Additionally the description says there is air conditioning, there is not, there was only a single fan which didn’t even reach my top bunk. When I expressed my frustrations of this not being what I had booked the owner was incredibly rude. Don’t stay here, I know it’s cheap but it’s not even worth that.

I had a same problem with one of the previous reviews.When i moved to my room, The owner came to me and said 2 travelers will come and sleep with your room. I said i rent all room and dont want anyone to stay with me! He said i am losing money cause you stay here very cheap.I said then change the price or do it mixed room on system.But later no one come to my room for stay

The bathroom is not new

The owners lie about the rooms they offer. I booked a single room (for 1 person, single, individual) and when I got there the owner told me I was going to share with someone else. Also, the toilet is not inside the rooms as the pictures suggest. He gave me a room with fan but I booked a room with ac. When I came to him to clarify all this, he changed my room but laughed at me and started saying things in indonesian with his wife. I still had to sleep with a stranger despite the room being a single room.
The way to get there is just awful. When it rains it’s all muddy and the motorbike slips. The directions are not clear on booking also, and the name of the property in google maps appears as The Paddy Fields Hostel

Terrible communication with staff. During arrival we got different room then we booked on booking. After hour of talking to staff who was totally unwilling solve the issue and just laughing to us. They called the owner and he was just arguing about it when there was no point.
Very poor communication with owner. Spent there three nights and havent seen him during the time when needed. No phone either.
