I chose this hotel based on the excellent central location, the extremely good value, and excellent reviews on Booking.com. I booked a whole month's stay. All I can say is I made a superb choice; in fact, this hotel has exceeded my expectations!
From checking-in I was met by an attractive exterior, in a relatively quiet side street, pleasant clean lobby, and presented with a really friendly and welcoming receptionist—Muji was so nice and hospitable he made me feel instantly welcome.
In fact all the staff here are really friendly and helpful. For non Indonesian speakers like me don't worry as all the receptionists speak English. Age (pronounced 'Ega'), another receptionist, is also super nice and friendly. The hotel manager/owner clearly has an eye for selecting wonderful commited customer orientated staff to represent his/her establishment. During my time here I have genuinely bonded with them in particular, enjoying fun conversations and banter. They are true stars!
My room's on the third floor, which I have found adequate for my needs. Importantly, I have found it very peaceful—with no neighbours either side of of me. My bed's comfortable, the air con's good, the wifi excellent, and water pressure perfect.
One of the highlights, I'm sure for most guests, is the third floor large roof terrace. It's nicely maintained, has several seating options, and provides a great place to chill out; here I have got the opportunity to meet fellow Indonesian guests. Additionally, this provides a great spot for watching the sunrise in the morning.
So many positives about this hotel—esp for the low price. Hugely recommended. Many good memories here! Again, a big thank you to the staff for making my stay really pleasant and comfortable:-)
My only gripe is that no hot water (for hot drinks) is provided; apart from the reception area. Surely the owner could install a hot water dispenser on each floor?
I didnt like anything
The room was clean but the hallway was filthy. I was surprised they dont provide toilet paper so get ready to use the wash or buy your own. This is the first time I have been in a hotel where they dont give you toilet paper. Although the room should come with WiFi, it wasn't working when I arrived.
Wouldn't recommend it. There are other decent priced options in Medan.

I like the comfy bed. The AC is doing well, the comforter added extra comfort to our rest. Overall it is worth the money for my stay.
It didn't have an elevator so I have to climb so many flight of stairs to get to my room at level 3.
Clean and located centrally. Smart TV with Netflix which is great. Comfy bed. Hot and cold drinking water available
The bathroom is very small. The hotel is quite noisy
