The food at both the breakfast and evening buffet was excellent. There was a wide choice and it was being freshly made and cooked to order. The service was impeccable. In the evening, the maitre d (who spoke perfect English) made a real effort to make me feel welcome, bringing freshly baked breads for me to try (including their specialty Szechuan spicy rolls) and ordering me the grilled lobster and dressed artichoke to the table.
The views from the bar are wonderful and the cocktails delicious.
The bedroom was immaculate and in a very good condition - very little wear and tear.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the black out blinds and quiet room meant I slept very well.
Other staff were also great - they were even accessible over WeChat when I was out during the day and helped me book the spa etc.
Clean, organised and the people stay on average are well presented.
Do yourself a favour and get the room with the floating bathtub! The room was spacious and clean, featuring Byredo products. The breakfast had a wide variety of local, general Chinese as well as Western food. If, like me, you miss bread while traveling in China, you can have some here :)

The breakfast was ridiculously overpriced (£24pp) when there were better alternatives for less than £5 nearby. I understand it's a luxury hotel etc. but £24 is egregious

I am in love with what this hotel has to offer. Their service is 10+. From checking in to checking out, this hotel meets all expectations. I asked for a late check out and they have me a 3pm without extra charge. The view of the skyline is breath taking. They also have a pillow menu to ensure your stay is good. They offer refreshments daily and theyre all amazing. I would def come back and stay here again.
They are also very walkable to the train station.
