The information at Booking.com is that this hotel is close to the beach, but this is not true! It's actually far away from the nearest beach

Pros:

The facilities were comfortable and clean. The staff was very attentive and professional. The room was spacious and had everything you would expect from a 4* room. The captain knew just how to move the ship around to keep getting the best sunset pictures.

Cons:

It was extremely hot and we could not swim and since there is no swimming pool, the only way to stay cool was to be inside of the boat in the aircon rooms. But you really want to be outside appreciating the view. A pool would have been great since you cannot swim in Halong Bay's polluted waters.
