Located at the adjacent street of Japanese street. Opposite Hotel Indigo.

Don't be deceived by its humble room size & simple design. It is one of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in. No frills Japanese hospitality with Japanese standards of hygiene. Also environmental friendly.

Tap water is filtered. The bathroom has no bathtub but it has a very high tech toilet seat. The room also has an air purifier/humidifier. Also a smart TV. Room accessories like toiletries & beverage sachets are available for top up at the lobby.

The restaurant on level 2 serves breakfast with Japanese, western & Vietnamese food. It is a Japanese restaurant at lunch & dinner. And an Izakaya at supper till 2am.

There's a rooftop pool & very small gym. But the cardio machines were surprisingly high tech.

I had a pleasant stay. My wife loves the place because she's particular in hygiene. Sotetsu is definitely one of our preferred hotels in Ho Chi Minh.

After checking out, my wife and I realised about five hours later that she had accidentally left her watch in the hotel. We immediately contacted the reception counter, Mr Jake and Mr Phong were extremely helpful, patient, and professional in coordinating with us to locate the watch. Their prompt action and clear communication gave us great reassurance during what could have been a very stressful situation.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to the housekeeper, Mr Tan, for his honesty and integrity in returning the watch. We truly appreciate such admirable professionalism and trustworthiness.

Thanks to the teamwork and dedication of your staff, the watch was safely received, and this experience has left a very positive and lasting impression on us. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to Mr Phong, Mr Jake, and Mr Tan for their excellent service.

I have stayed at the Sotetsu twice, I had a break in between when I went to Nha Trang for a few days. The hotel is perfect, great location, you can walk to the major sites in 15-20 mins. The standard of the rooms is very high, spotlessly clean, there is a pool on the roof along with a gym, both are great amenities and when I’ve used the pool I’ve had it to myself. The front desk staff are all so good, special thanks to Hana, Larry and Tyler, they are all extremely helpful and friendly, whilst being professional. I would 100% stay here again, if your coming to Ho Chi Minh, why not try it yourselves,

Hotel staffs were polite, room amenities/supplies are hygienic and topped up daily. Price point is good. Location isn't an issue given you can get a grabcar easily to anywhere in the city.

I note is some knocking noise in my room, could be from the fridge or aircon vent, but that could be quickly solved by the maintenance people.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 night at Sotetsu. Staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful and always greeted everyone with a warm smile. Room was comfortable and very clean. Highly recommended to stay. Location was also very central and easy to get around to different shopping and eating places in Hoi Chi Minh.

Location is very convenient. Room is clean and staff are helpful and friendly. It is value for money. I love the cleanliness of the lobby and self help counter for toiletries.
