Everything is perfect here

Location and stuff - they were supportive and nice.
Location - on weekends streets around are closed and there is huge market at night - gou can buy backpacks, caps, t shorts etc. Nice atmosfere, a lot of people.
Rooms are big, but old, very dark. Walls dirty. Bed end dirty. We have chosen this hotel as the booking rating was 9.9. In general ,I would give 6, but like in Vietnam 7-8, but not 9.9.
We got the room and it was not the same like in pictures what we ordered.. Walls and bed end were so dirty, no window. Well there was small window on the flor and on cielings, but in general - it was wall. They explained - this is city view. We asked to change. They were not very happy but finaly did it and we got the room we ordered. That one was cleaner, but anyway we found for example old pineaple left in the room. Smell in the room was very specific.
When we left, they ofered good price taxi for the good comments in booking and that moment we understood why the rating of this hotel was 9.9 and in reality we were disapointed.
By the way - in Vietnam to offer cheaper taxi, free desert in restorants for good comments is very often. Or asking to cancel booking and pay a little bit less is very often as well. So be avare when choosing your hotels.
We always choose 8+ hotels. In Vietnam it was huge lotery all the time. In Europe you can trust booking ratings, but in Vietnam not realy. Only in Hue and Tam Coc ratings were real, in all other Vietnam - Saigon, Da Nang, Ho An , Ha Noi - much worse when rating.
Overall location and staffs. Friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect fr. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially Benny. They made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay at Madelise Palace Hotel again!
This hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so I found it very convenient. I arrived on a weekend and was surprised to find a night market right near the hotel. Although cars are prohibited in the evenings on weekends, that wasn't a big problem for me because when I booked a Grab, I only had to walk a few dozen meters to reach the driver's pick-up point. Furthermore, the staff were absolutely wonderful. They were always welcoming and incredibly friendly.
Das Hotel war ausgezeichnet! Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ideal und alles war leicht zu erreichen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets höflich, professionell und haben dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich während meines Aufenthalts willkommen gefühlt habe. Ich kann dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den großartigen Service!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is excellent—right in the city center, making it very convenient to explore the main attractions, restaurants, and local shops on foot.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I will gladly stay here again on my next trip!

Best place to stay if you want to close to people. Right at the bursting street with many shop, spa, bar. Receptionist are friendly, Kansey, Tho and Hung help me alot in this stay. Room are clean, staff are quick on support.
