Horrible experience with Sea Light Hotel Da Nang
Cons:

We arrived at Sea Light and were told they could not find our booking and turned us away because all their room were occupied. Our stay was 100% confirmed through Booking.com (the fact that I’m being promoted to rate my “stay” now is evidence of that fact).

The staff did not apologize and tried to make various excuses without taking any accountability. It would have been one thing if they’d just made a mistake, taken responsibility, and apologized but they fact they tried to turn it around on us with nonsensical reasons like we should have messaged them to confirm (which isn’t required) and that their contact phone number on the listing isn’t correct (how is that relevant to the situation at all?).

We ended up having to walk around the streets in the area to find another hotel at 8pm at night, after a long day of travel. We had to try several hotels before we found one with availability.

Terrible experience with Sea Light Da Nang. Even if they do get your booking right and you actually get the room you booked, and aren’t left on the street with nowhere to stay, I’d avoid this place just down to the way we were treated in this situation.

Perfect Place for the Price. Great area too
Pros:

Everything. Great location near the beach 5 min walk. Great area for restaurants and bars and are expats living in the area.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Room was hig quality and compact. Modern quality feel and Great bathroom super clean in the room. Superb cleaning staff.

For the price point this is a 10 out of 10 everyday.

Would love to stay again.

Pros:

The room was quite large with a smart tv and quality fittings, check in and room cleaning staff were great if you needed advice and service staff always had a smile. The owner or manager allowed us to check in early, the shower and bathroom facilities were first class and after our 3 day stay I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Da Nang and want to be close to shops and restaurants.
