Luxus mit kleinen Mängeln.
Die Rooftoo Bar hatte nicht so wirklich die Cocktails die auf der Karte standen aber dann nimmt man halt das was da ist.
Das Personal spricht nicht gut Englisch,dank Google Translater klappt das aber auch alles.
Der Preis ist für das Hotel mehr als angemessen.

This hotel was large, luxurious and very comfortable. The room was large, bed was large and comfortable. It felt very luxurious. The breakfast restaurant was great, buffet style with large choices. The hotel was in a great location walking distance to everything we needed. It was central to everything but still very quiet. We loved this hotel.
Everything was exceptional.
Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns für den nächsten Tag ein Taxi bestellt, dessen Fahrer uns zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren hat. Perfekt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral.
Das Frühstück war okay, aber etwas wenig Obstauswahl.

Also the only hotel I’ve been to in the world that send someone to check the room when you are checking out. They wanted us to pay for wet / dirty towels we had to use to dry the bathroom floor (because of leaking shower cubicle)!
אין ספק שזה המלון הכי טוב בקאו באנג. החדרים מרווחים מאוד, יפים ונקיים. לכבוד יום הולדתו של בעלי, הכינו סידור מדהים על המיטה והביאו עוגה.
רצינו להתנסות בטיפולי הספא, אך בכל פעם שניסינו לקבוע, זה לא התאפשר, מכיוון שלא היו מטפלים.
Le calme et l’accueil

The men at Reception eyeballed you every time you walked through making you feel very unwelcome. The ladies are all lovely but there is a distinct feeling that westerners don’t belong here. The compendium is not accurate and the pool & gym are only open for a few hours each day.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the comforts, cleanliness and design of the hotel. The Staff were also friendly and helpful. Besides this, the hotel was well located in the town.
Najlepszy hotel w Cao Bang .Wysoki standard pokoi , doskonała lokalizacja i śmiesznie niska cena za pobyt . Hotel zlokalizowany w samym centrum ,Wszędzie blisko.Spod hotelu odjeżdża bus do Hanoi co jest dodatkowym plusem bo nie trzeba biegać z walizami po mieście.
Śniadania. Bardzo duży wybór ale głownie dań wietnamskich,niekonicznie przydatnych dla Europejczyków na poranny posiłek, z kolei mało owoców
Great location, comfy spacious room friendly staff and good parking. The rooms were clean.
There was no hot water (or very little that husband took), when you pay almost twice as much as you would in other hotels in the same street I expected better. I was disappointed in the cleanliness in the restaurant, the dust and dead flies on the framework was bad.
Comfortable beds, blackout curtains, good night's sleep. If you see this as a 2 or 3 star hotel, you won't be disappointed. Decent hotel breakfast. Great location in an immensely charming town.
The facilities are almost non existent. For some reason, everything communal is only open for 2-4 hours per day. The gym and pool opening times seemed designed to make sure you could not attend (if memory serves, 7-10am and 4-8pm or so). The pool doesn't have heating and so (at least when we went, in Feb) it was unbearably cold. Perhaps this is why it was mainly locked most days, and why others on here said it was too hot at other times of year. The staff (who were lovely) seemed embarrassed when we asked why the gym was always shut. Breakfast was cold and had almost completely run out by 9am. Unless you're planning a very early start each day, this place isn't for you. It definitely isn't a 5 star, more like a 2 star hotel? There are plenty of decent hotels in Cao Bang by the look of it, next time we'll look elsewhere. At least it was a good night's sleep!
Perfect location, lovely (Vietnamese speaking) staff. If you see this as a two star hotel, you won't be disappointed.
No facilities. Breakfast closes at 930am, and is almost run out by 9am. The gym and swimming pool is almost always closed. The pool isn't temperature managed, so it was unbearably cold in Feb when we went - and according to other reviews on here, much too hot in the summer. My feeling is that Cao Bang must have much better value places to stay than this bizarre, fake five star hotel!
Spacious and well appointed room with a lovely view and in a great location in the main city centre. Shower was great. Bed was surprisingly not as comfortable as I expected from a hotel of this standard. Breakfast offering was average for Western tastes, but understandable given that we are not the main demographic of their clientele. Value for money was great and overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend to other travellers.
