Bel établissement moderne avec vue
Pros:

Très bel établissement avec une vue magnifique qui nous a permis de nous reposer après la croisière et avant notre départ du Vietnam. Toute la décoration est superbe et bien pensée. Le spa est également très joli et propre. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et sauna/jacuzzi jusqu'à notre départ après notre check out. Petit déjeuner absolument parfait. Le meilleur de notre séjour (attention le prix le justifie, pratiquement des prix européens). Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute mais parfois donne l'impression de ne pas communiquer entre eux. La literie est très confortable et la chambre est dotée d'un balcon.

Cons:

J'avais réservé sur booking avec ma carte bancaire. Or on nous a demandé un dépôt de garantie en espèces de 1 000 000 dongs. Comme nous avons indiqué vouloir prendre des massages la garantie a été doublée. C'est inadmissible dans un établissement de ce standing de demander un dépôt en espèces (alors qu'il a l'empreinte de ma mastercard) surtout que nous étions en fin de séjour et n'avions donc plus beaucoup de cash. Sinon, ils voulaient que nous payions à chaque consommation alors que je voulais faire une cb globale (comme c'est le cas partout). Finalement nous avons trouvé un accord mais cela nous a fortement dérangé. De plus, j'avais demandé un transfert aéroport et ld prix initial étant très élevé par rapport à ce que j'avais payé 3 jours plus tôt pour la même distance avec un autre prestataire... Finalement le tarif a été largement dîminué... mais si je n'avais rien dit... je payais le transport le plus cher de tout le voyage.... un peu dérangeant. Autre problème : le soir beaucoup de bruit avec concert sur la plage... jusqu'à minuit environ.

Would highly recommend staying here when in Ha Long bay!
Pros:

A stunning hotel with great facilities in and out of room. We only stayed one night pre cruise and were able to store our luggage and return on our departure day for a massage and to enjoy some of the facilities before heading for our flight.

Pros:

Good location, great staff, good food especially breakfast. Handy location for Port. We think anyone who goes on a cruise for one or two nights instead of staying here in comfort and doing day trips wants their head read.
