Pros:

Well I never like giving bad reviews I will start there. There’s always a way to turn the hotel around and so this is just a snapshot in time. With that said, the stay wasn’t that good. The air conditioner was basically not in operation so it was usually hot in the room or with windows open but that made it loud for night time. The floor was really dirty that my feet were completely covered in blackness after a few minutes which you know, that’s rough when wanting to feel clean. The bedding was very dusty and had a smell which I am associating with the dust. Shower would be under 2 minutes of heat which may be more common in this area of Vietnam but it was new to be. I stayed in a similar priced place just before this one so I am trying to be fair and compare this one to the previous stay and not to one that is much more expensive. What I did appreciate was the breakfast being sent to my room. I would say make sure the room is clean and feels clean and then fix the air conditioner by replacing it or don’t advertise it has one. It just overall didn’t feel all that relaxing to come back to. I left a day early. This is long and informative but I believe the hotel can fix these things and if the price remains around where it is now they could turn it around because the location is decently convenient to both sides of town.

New and spacious room, near the beach
Pros:

New renovation hotel, large studio room, very kind staff. They also setup kitchen utensils if you require.
Very near the beach just 5m walking. Next time I will stay longer to see the dragon bridge near by

Cons:

At this price, it’s absolutely outrageous to provide such a dirty room! Upon our arrival, as soon as I opened the first cupboard, a terrible smell of feces came out. It was horrible! We immediately requested to change rooms, but they initially told us we’d have to wait until the next day because no other room was available. After insisting and threatening to ask for a refund, a room suddenly became available. While this room didn’t have the awful smell, it was still poorly cleaned, old, with stains in all the cupboards, and even mouse droppings in one of them.
As for security, it’s highly questionable. The reception can be unattended for hours, leaving the door wide open, allowing anyone from outside to enter without being stopped. It’s unacceptable! Nothing justifies this price for such a dirty, outdated establishment with so few staff present...I took photos to show the deplorable condition. Where can I share them on Booking?
