Încă de de sosire amabilitatea și disponibilitatea personalului ne-au surprins foarte plăcut. S-au oferit să ne ajute cu orice avem nevoie, ceea ce s-a și întâmplat pe parcursul șederii noastre în repetate rânduri, am primit fără a solicita o cameră de categorie superioară doar pentru că era disponibilă, la fel și prietenii noștri de călătorie, iar la final am primit și un cadou de rămas bun. De cum am intrat în recepție am simțit că am ajuns în locul potrivit. Am fost forte încântați de oamenii frumoși pe care i-am întâlnit, dar și de calitatea excelentă a serviciilor: mic dejun excelent, curățenie desăvârșită în toate spațiile (ceea ce pentru centrul vechi din Hanoi este excepțional), priveliștea superbă de la barul de pe acoperiș și aș putea continua... Concluzie: O ALEGERE EXCELENTĂ DACĂ VREȚI SĂ STAȚI ÎN CENTRUL VECHI. Mulțumim întregului personal!

The hotel staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us.
The bed was huge, so comfortable and beautiful sheets. This was the first stop on our tour of Vietnam and you have set the bar high! It was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! ❤️

Strategic location in the most beautiful area of Hanoi, in the heart of the old quarter, this hotel where I returned to stay is my point of reference in Hanoi, a colonial jewel, a mix of class and elegance a stone's throw from Hoan Khiem Lake and the famous water puppet theater.

Staff were so lovely! Very helpful with suggestions to eat. Food was delicious and location is great. Able to walk to so many places from there and it was nice a quite when we wanted to get to bed earlier. Stayed here twice during our trip as we loved it so much

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel du Lac. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.
The hotel is beautifully presented, with elegant rooms, stunning surroundings, and a fantastic location that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The level of service was exceptional throughout our stay, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered.
As someone with coeliac disease, I was particularly impressed by the gluten-free food options available. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating, which made dining stress-free and enjoyable.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book a stay at their sister property, Hotel du Lac Signature, after our tour. That hotel was stunning as well, which really speaks to the quality and consistency of the Hotel du Lac group.
Whether you're visiting for a special occasion or simply looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway, we highly recommend the Grand Hotel du Lac. We would happily stay here again in the future.
