Excellent Hotel and good location
Pros:

Grand Hotel was amazing highly recommended. Everything was perfect from the moment we came. The Hotel is very nice and clean the staff were so polite,helpful and caring .Breakfast selection was excellent so much to choose from. Hotel Location was in the quiet part of the old quarter in close proximity of the Hoan Kiem lake.

Very nice hotel to explore the old town of Hanoi
Pros:

Very nice and helpful reception/staff !
The hotel's location is really perfect for Hanoi.

Cons:

There is just one lift.
That is too few in peak hours.
Other than that, it's a really perfect hotel.
You have to put the toilet paper into the bucket - standard in Hanoi.

a very welcoming boutique hotel
Pros:

Location. within walking distance to the beautiful lake.
Service - staff are very attentive and quick to response to customer needs.
Breakfast buffet was of good quality, especially the hot food selection which was replenished promptly - one can taste that it was freshly prepared

Pros:

Amazing breakfast, the staff is so kind and helpful, special mention to Jack for all his recommendations.

Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre ( mais nous le savions au départ).

Pros:

Das Personal war super 😊 Wir haben am Ende sogar noch Mückenschutz für die Kids mitbekommen weil wir keinen dabei hatten... Sauber, ordentlich und gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Wir haben auf eine Betonwand geschaut / kein Fenster. Da wir aber ohnehin nur zum Schlafen in der Unterkunft waren hat uns das nicht gestört.

Pros:

We had the most wonderful time at Grand Hotel du Lac, from the moment we arrived the porters and especially Grace at reception made us feel so welcome and special. The team had organized a special gift in our room as it is our Honeymoon trip which was a lovely surprise! The room was beautiful and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and all staff there were very kind and eager to assist. The pool and rooftop bar are also lovely. On checking out Grace again was so sweet and friendly, staff even waved us off from the steps! We felt like this hotel what such a special experience and would love to come back - thank you!

Location was great and the staff was excellent.

Lost a key card and was charged. First time I have ever been charged for a keycard.

Excellent location, service, staff and value.
Pros:

The location was excellent close to a number of sites to visit. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and one staff member in particular Hung was exceptional. His bright helpful and caring approach made our stay all the better.

Cons:

We selected internal window rooms next time would have a window.
