Que la piscine ferme à 20h .
Et que le personnel de la piscine attende devant vous pour que vous sortiez .

Grand hotel du Lac is the perfect place to get a rest after a busy day in Hanoi. The staff goes above and beyond with their hospitality. They're always there to help you with everything you need. And the beds are perfect!

Cons:

The swmmingpool is nice but a bit smaller then the pictures.

Tout!!!!! Ce fût un séjour merveilleux !!!! Tous les membres du personnel ont été extrêmement accueillants et aidants! Le restaurant de l’hôtel sert des plats délicieux et le petit déjeuner était un régal ! L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir Hanoï.

Pros:

Superbe hôtel à taille humaine avec un service personnalisé. Magnifiquement situé à deux pas du lac Hoan Kiem. Très beau rooftop avec vue sur la cathédrale Saint-Joseph. Piscine de petite taille mais très agréable (très belle vue).
Personnel charmant et très attentionné.

Cons:

Les tarifs des extras (massages, bar, restaurant) sont sensiblement supérieurs à la moyenne.

If you like to stay in old quarters in Hanoi this hotel is the one.
Pros:

The staffs at the hotel are excellent from doorman,receptionist,restaurant to cleaning staffs. Everyone is very helpful and gave us all information we needed during the stay. We decided to stay another night purely the hotel feels like home away home.

מלון יפה במרכז קרוב לכל מקום, מיקום מעולה, כל צוות העובדים במלון נתן לנו שירות יוצא מן הכלל, כולם עשו מעל ומעבר בכדי לעזור לנו בכל מה שצריך. ארוחת בוקר טריה וטעימה, אווירה נעימה ויוקרתית. סה"כ נהננו מאוד מהאירוח במלון .

Cons:

חדרים מעט קטנים וטיפה חשוכים, מומלץ להזמין חדר עם חלון מאשר חדר פנימי שפחות מאוורר. אבל ממש לא נורא, היה כיף להתארח במלון.

Exceptional staff and location, comfortable stay
Pros:

Wonderful and attentive staff. Chloe and Jennie took excellent care of our family making the most effort to ensure we felt comfortable and spoilt during our stay.
The restaurant is delicious and a great above city level oasis, beers especially cold which was rare but welcomed in the Hanoi heat.
Rooms are a good size and the family adjoining rooms were excellent.
Location is great for people watching, shopping or a drink stop to watch the passing by street scenes.

Cons:

Pool is smaller than a typical hotel, but as rooftop it’s to be expected.

Really enjoyable stay at the Grand Hôtel du Lac! Chloé at the front desk was lovely, very welcoming and helpful, she gave us several great suggestions to make the most of our stay. The pool has a stunning view, perfect for relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we had excellent nights of sleep. An hotel I’d highly recommend!

Pros:

Great breakfast. They also offered Gluten-free bread. Staff is super super friendly and helpful. They try to satisfy customer's needs at all times.

Choose rooms with city view as those with internal windows are a bit clastrofobic.
