Clean
The showers barely work. Even when there is water flow, it is extremely weak and there is almost no hot water. It’s nearly impossible to take a proper shower. Other guests also confirmed to me that they are experiencing the same issue in their rooms.
The view from the window was a balcony, it was quiet
The room was damp and cold, with stains all over the furniture and light switches. The linens and pillowcases smelled strangely of men's cologne. There were problems with the hot water, a weak stream. There was no shower gel or soap in the room, so I had to ask for it. Payment is cash only.
Excellent location and (apart from that mentioned below) quiet and serene.
A lovely old colonial era house with an extremely good swimming pool.
The room and facilities were more than adequate with a comfortable bed.
WhatsApp is recommended for communication with owner and staff and Grab is a quick and cheap
mode of transport to get from villa to beach or town.
Not the fault of Citrus Village but the neighbours dogs are a rowdy bunch.
I like dogs so not too much of a problem but others may not appreciate being
woken up at two or three o'clock in the morning with incessant barking.
Alles in allem wunderschöne Zeit dort gehabt. Komme gerne wieder :)
Lovely welcome and service
Great place to stay, easy walk to old town
wasn't any tea, coffee in rooms just jug, cup and saucers.
suppose to include breakfast when I booked, for 7 days. none supplied or offered. And I did ask that that was included.
no room service cleaned at all during my stay.
We had a disappointing stay. The staff were nice and the bed was comfy but beyond that unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. There is no spa, no restaurant, no coffee bar, no free beach shuttle, despite all being listed as amenities. We were able to borrow bikes but it took 45 minutes despite us asking the night before as they all needed maintenance work doing to them. We also had a negative experience with some neighbouring guests who had loud music blaring until 1:30am, as well as running around shouting and banging on other doors. When we raised this as midnight over text we did not get a reply from anyone, and the next morning we did not receive apology of any sorts and the owner tried to justify by informing us that they were college students. We didn’t feel this was appropriate given there were other guests staying. The place has potential to be a good stay, but it needs to alter the listing to be accurate to what is available, and the staff need to take guest satisfaction a little more seriously.
Loan is very helpful and goes above and beyond! Such a nice compound and huge pool with plenty of room for sun bathing. What a great deal for such a nice place!!

Great lil villa. Warm and friendly vibe here. Close but not too close to the busy area. Best need on my trip so far. Prices are very fair. I will be returning
