Unser Zimmer etwas kleiner wie üblich aber dafür alles modern und neu, man fühlt sich wohl, es war außergewöhnlich sauber. Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Nachts ruhig, die Stadt ist aber insgesamt etwas ruhiger. Man kann, wenn man gut zu Fuss ist, das Zentrum erreichen, Restaurants, Markt und Zug sowie Busstation sind sogar in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Pleasant stay at Hotel Sonne, clean facilities, welcoming staff. Very close to the train station which is a plus. Would stay again.
We stayed two nights, Lilly and Hannah’s service was great. Upon arrival, they showed us a map and points of interest, and they were extremely helpful during our stay. Hotel is walking distance to most points of interest. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pictures on bookings.com do not do it justice. Would highly recommend a stay here.
Kind and helpful staff, very last minute booking, booked a couple hours before arriving very late and they helped me at check-in. Would recommend.

Owner is so nice and sweet. Invite us for breakfast, chased us to give water so we had water for the day. Really sweet people.
Shower is good with nice hot Hot hot water
Staff were friendly (albeit they speak limited English), location is good, near the train station.
Hot water was inconsistent with the showers.
Is convenient as you walk there are lots of restaurants close by and the market too.
Good value. Large bed and shower was hot. Bedroom & bathroom were clean. Greeted us with a hot drink on arrival and a coffee on leaving. Staff were happy to answer my questions - used Google Translate.
Grab is so easy to use and taxis are cheap so you can get anywhere in the city easily. It’s in a part of the city good for transport but probably more than 1/2 hour walk to fish market and sea. (Depends what you’re looking for - it was fine for us as tour operator happy to pick us up from this hotel to take us to Phong Nha which was the reason we came to Dong Hoi.
Excellent location, great value for money, and very pleasant staff. I would happily stay again.
