Would stay again.
Pros:

Rooms were nice, bed comfortable and breakfast good.

Cons:

Showers designed for type not substance and water tended to flood room but not a big issue.

Un très grand merci à toute l’équipe du Chanvre hotel pour son accueil et tout particulièrement à Helena qui a si bien su nous guider et checker nos différents périples du Nord au centre avec d’excellents conseils ( les transferts, certains hébergements , notre Hagiang loop…) Elle a rendu notre séjour très fluide et sécurisant. L’hôtel est très bien placé, très confortable , élégant, le rooftop est très agréable, le petit déjeuner varié. Merci!

Great stay in old town
Pros:

The location, staff and amenities were all amazing.
The staff were attentive and polite, and always happy to talk and give suggestions for places to eat and things to see during our stay. The front desk staff always said hello and even gave us a gift upon leaving - thank you Helena and Jane!
The rooftop pool & bar were a great escape from the midday heat where we could relax before heading out again in the evening.
The location is very central to everything in the old town - so many amazing places to eat, and right near the lake for the night market as well.

Cons:

Nothing - it was all great!

Cosy French stay in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter with superb service
Pros:

Good location, superb breakfast, cosy room in french style. Great appreciation to hotel staff ~Ms Jane who gave me a big hand to buy 'The Hanoi Train' ticket with specific carriage & seat number which foreignor could not book online without local card or bank account🙏👍

Cons:

Spot lighting in the entire room is not cosy enough, recommend a wall lamp above the mirror of the bathroom so that guest could see the face more clearly😬

Excellent hotel in the centre of Hanoi.
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Hanoi. Superb staff who were always there to assist you. Roof top bar for a happy hour beverage and a nice breakfast each day. Thank you Helena and the team.
