Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites

Beautifully located in downtown Sidney along the water front. Soo close to many stores and restaurants, this hotel features large clean rooms.

I booked a double queen, city view room which had a small fridge, fireplace & very firm beds which were comfortable. The sound proofing was not the best as I could hear the lady next door discuss her relationship issues lol

Breakfast bar was fully stocked with cereals, fruit, coffee,waffles, etc


Just wish I could've stayed longer

We stopped here for lunch after a walk around the lovely town of Sidney shopping in its many artisan shops and along the picturesque water front on the flat. It’s full of great scenic photo opportunities like the cute street art and statues, the mini opera house and the pier with the obliging seals!!!

Top tip: if you are lucky you can park in the side streets or you can get a bus from Victoria

Our meals were delicious I had a very good Fish chowder and the rest of our little group had fish and chips. Service was attentive and very friendly in a smart cosy resturant and we were not rushed through at all. Water was on the table ready for the diners as a given which I think is always a good start. The view from the window onto the waterfront was a bonus and they had outside seating for the warmer times

Top tip We did nip in and book a table in the morning for a later lunch and that turned out to be a good call as it got quite busy

So overall a great little restuarant, good food and friendly service. Whats not to like👍

Fabulous, lovely room and space!! The room was wonderful, comfy beds, lots of room. View was spectacular! Walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend!

I recently had an excellent stay at the Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites. The Inn is perfectly located in the town Sidney, and I could easily walk to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The staff were professional and courteous, and my room was spotless.

It was a short stopover, and it was great! Perfect location to explore Sydney. The staff was very friendly, everything was spotless, and the breakfast omelette was delicious.

Wonderful property and staff. Roos very clean. A little noise from airport but not a factor in overall comfort.

The room climate was excellent. Room was very clean and fresh scent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which was delicious. The only problem was the breakfast room is small and has 2 seating tables. So we took our breakfast to our room and enjoyed it.

The staff was very friendly and responsive and the room was very clean. The shower was the best of our trip…roomy,with immediate hot water! The location was perfect for easily exploring the area by foot. Stores nearby, across the street from a grocery store, lots of restaurants to choose from, and beautiful seaside paths to walk along. Even saw some sea lions down by the Fish Market! Overall a very good place to stay,

Great location and nice, big rooms.

Room was large. Linens and towels were nice and soft. Bed was a little hard but that's just a personal preference. Continental breakfast had a lot of hot and cold options. View of the water from the room was very nice. Location was perfect. Walking paths, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and pubs all around. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Kitchen set up was fabulous. Breakfast was great. A very walkable location & a beautiful waterfront. Decor slightly dated but super clean and spacious.

Kitchen for breakfast is small, but cosy with a good choice of food.

Enjoyable stay at the Waterfront Inn & Suites in Sidney, BC. This was the last night of my one-week poke around on Vancouver Island. It is located on the boardwalk in downtown Sidney, BC, a short distance from the BC Ferry terminal and the ferry to Tsawwassen, BC. I stayed in the newer annex, on the 2nd floor overlooking the harbour. Nearby shops are fun to explore. The Riva Restaurant is in the same complex. It was a great area to hang out on my last night before heading home to the Okanagan Valley.

Staff was excelkent as always. The property is dated but is clean.
