Location was excellent. Bed was comfy. The woman who checked us out was a delight

The woman who checked us in was rude. She was also not very accommodating when I told her we were missing half the amenities promised in the room description.

ok-worth the location just because we needed short distance to the stampede grounds
Pros:

I liked that the location worked for us as we needed to travel to stampede everyday. The price for the room was okay minus the large pet fee $245 for the three nights (we had 3 small dogs)

Cons:

I think a pet fee per room would be better, we had 3 small dogs and paid $245 for the three nights extra- expensive especially when you looked at the other clientele staying there, there was a lot of people staying that had their belongings in garbage bags- might be a last minute discount?!
We also found a condom wrapper under the bed... It was me, my friend and my daughter (8)staying in the room. The receiptionist just said oops sorry can I take a picture of your picture.

It was awesome and would like to stay in the hotel again.
Pros:

There was no breakfast given. The hotel features are old but served its purpose. There is no water given at least l expected that and its not all the guests that takes coffee.

Cons:

There could have been an operating restaurant .
At least breakfast should be served

Cheap, relatively clean, very close to transit.
Pros:

Location was great, direct access to the LRT through the parking lot. Very easy to get to the Stampede and downtown. Daily housekeeping. Comfy beds. Luggage storage room by the front desk if you need it.

Cons:

Found an insect on the bed (boxelder bug) after it bit my sister in her sleep. Likely crawled out from peeling wallpaper? Bathroom floor was wet and had hairs, housekeeping never mopped it up despite our requests to the front desk. We ended up wiping it up ourselves. Housekeeping came sometimes even if we had the Do Not Disturb sign up. No kettle/access to hot water for drinking that doesn't taste like coffee. Stained/dated sofa and carpet. TV remote batteries were dead when we arrived. Not enough hangers in the closet. Toilet flush lever leaked a bit every time it was depressed.
