Great Anniversary Experience
Pros:

Went with my wife for our 15th Anniversary. Our stay (in the bicycle room) was very enjoyable. Room was extra clean (wife approved). Very unique “Retro/Modern” style. Staff are friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The location is walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. Price was fair.

The Grove hotel. A quaint and charming little hotel.
Pros:

A quaint, charming little hotel that would be an excellent place to bring a significant other and just relax.. There are plenty of restaurant choices and little pubs. All within walking distance. The steakhouse, just 2 blocks within walking distance has a very good menu and priced reasonably period I would suggest the big buck burger..
The only drawback and not a major one is that there is limited parking on hotel property period but there is a public parking lot close by.

Cool Hotel with a Funky Vibe
Pros:

We stayed in the Namaste room which was very clean and had a super comfortable bed. The hotel's location was perfect for local dining as well as day trips to the local wineries or Point Pelee National Park. We loved the eclectic vibe plus having the cafe Joe Hot or Cold next door was convenient with good food. One complaint though was with the window in the bathroom. When closed the seal did not keep out the cool air which made for a chilly bathroom while showering.

Vibe, Comfort, Location and Convenience.
Pros:

Congratulations to “The Cool Kids” on what you have done with this hotel. The vibe is great, and the finishings give you a “new” feel within a historic building. I liked the parking options. We got good spots both nights. Everything is close by. Our room 11 was perfect for just the two of us. We enjoyed the lounge chairs on the covered balcony. And when we needed extra towels it was so easy to track down help on short notice. We appreciated the bar fridge and the water. The TV allowed us to watch the game our second night. We also found a great restaurants steps from your place.
The communication is so great with the advance emails and the text reminders for check in. There was good front desk coverage during the day. And even if we showed up late, it was neat to see the room code system you set up if we ever needed it. How creative. We ran into other guests while we were there and they were fun and friendly too. We will let our family and friends know about you. We would stay here again. This sounds contrite but normally we have more complaints about a place and that wasn’t the case at The Grove.

A must if you are anywhere near Kingsville or Leamington. Just a wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Such a cool place. We were fortunate to stay in Suite 18 (top floor with balcony overlooking the main drag) where we sipped wine and watched the sunset. Extremely comfortable and beautifully laid out suite. Free parking at rear. Wifi works very well.

Good service. Breakfast (not included) at Joe next door (same proprietorship) for excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

We had a such a wonderful stay here. There are half a dozen (perhaps surprisingly) excellent restaurants located within a ten minute stroll from this hotel.

Loved our two night stay !
Pros:

My husband and I stayed at the Grove Hotel for two nights , Aug 5,6 and thoroughly enjoyed it. This old building has been totally renovated and is awesome top to bottom. We were in room 15, 3rd floor, standard room, 2 beds. It was much roomier than anticipated, very clean and modern. Staff very friendly and the whole place has a very nice vibe. Loved it !

Ten stars rather than five stars, for the hotel and fantastic staff!
Pros:

Three couples stayed overnight while on a wine tasting getaway. Everywhere you look in this fantastic hotel (e.g., the check in desk, hallways, every room door, ceilings, fixtures, furniture, etc) there are unique, artistic touches. The entire building is an absolute feast for the senses!
The mattress and pillows were heavenly, there was a beautiful rainfall shower, and a spacious room with extra touches (e.g. an antique desk and antique typewriter). All rooms were very well maintained and spotless.
Prior to my arrival I made two separate special requests and I received very prompt replies agreeing to both of these. In person, the staff were super friendly, funny and basically completely delightful.
We will definitely be back and are sharing this gem with friends and family.

An amazing stay at the Grove Kingsville.
Pros:

We spent 4 nights at the Grove hotel in Kingsville for a tour of the local wineries and sites. The 3 3/4 room is a beautiful loft with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The staff were awesome and they even added a coffee maker to our room. Everything was cozy with a sitting bar, sectional couch and kitchenette. 3 large TVs allowed us to keep up with hockey playoffs. Lots of restaurants very close by and a coffee shop attached at the hip to the Grove. The only minor suggestion, for 60+ travelers, would be suitcase stands but overall, an excellent stay and I highly recommend the experience. Thanks!!

Detroiters: You're a passport and 25 minute drive from a sublime wine country experience at The Grove!
Pros:

The best part - the criminally undervalued part - about living in Detroit is having such a delightful neighbor in Canada. Case in point is Essex County wine country along the Lake Erie coast, from Amherstberg to Leamington, whose shores are dotted with seemingly dozens of vineyards and tasting rooms with really impressive vintner offerings. The classiest addition to the coast is The Grove Hotel. More than just a place to lay your head, The Grove is a testament to boutique hotels done right. We stayed in #19, third floor with a porch overlooking the Kingsville city center - the room themed to honor the hotel's and area's history (in fact, it surely reminded us of our stay at "Pioneer Woman" Ree Drummond's Boarding House in Oklahoma - the highest praise). The bed was big, bold and comfy, the bath and sink fun and unique, the staff inviting and available (if not in person after hours always a quick phone call away), parking close and easy (with Level 2 EV charging on premises). Each room of the hotel has been meticulously custom-decorated by the owner herself to surprise and delight. We simply loved our stay at The Grove, which genuinely felt like _worlds_ away from home despite being less than 25 minutes from Downtown Detroit. Our thanks to the staff that made it feel really special!

So pleased with this motel!
Pros:

We visited for one night with our granddaughters. What a fun place to stay! The rooms are immaculate, decorated very retro. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The coffee shop was so convenient and yummy….the gal working was fun and gave us lots of tips for our short visit. We went to many great wineries which were in close proximity, the Maple festival and then onto Amherstburg. We packed a lot in! We’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay and accommodating
Pros:

We stayed in the E=MC2 room and added the romance package. This was our late Valentine’s Day night and we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. The hotel also accommodated us after we had to cancel on Valentine’s Day due to getting sick so we were given a gift card since we cancelled a bit too late, so we weren’t charged again. We will be back again as we want to check out the different themed rooms :)
