Notre chambre au 3e étage coïncidait avec les bruyantes sorties de ventilation du toit.
Le système de climatisé dans la chambre est également bruyant, forçant son arrêt la nuit.

We had to spend quite a bit of time during check-in day to figure out the AC leaks in one of the rooms we reserved. It wetted the carpet and later we had to put a bowl under the AC. The staff during our stay (incl. maintenance) were helpful throughout, but it did take some time and back and forth on my part.

Here's where we took out a lot of points and why we unfortunately wouldn't come back, despite all other upsides we mentioned. This trip overall felt very forced and, in a way, traumatizing. A few days prior, we learned that there was a thunderstorm warning in Ottawa during Canada Day. Because our group, which includes my elderly parents and my toddler nephew, had to drive from Toronto and rely on a decent weather for our activities, we decided to cancel our trip to Ottawa and stay at home.

We didn't realize we passed our free cancelation window from Booking.com (another confusion; it says free cancelation on June 27th, but actually June 26th just before midnight...) so on the morning on June 27th we filed a request through Booking.com to the Hotel explaining the situation. The hotel then reassured their understanding but asked a follow up question whether we wanted to cancel or reschedule (despite being clear that we wanted to cancel because this was a Canada Day trip, not a random trip to Ottawa), which I could only get to reply the next day. Then the hotel said that now it is outside their cancelation window and there's nothing they could do (and that I should have confirmed the day before), despite filing the cancelation request the day before.

Here's where it left a bitter taste to us; in the message and through our phone call with Megan, the front desk supervisor, the hotel exclaimed to us that it's only 40% chance of light rain (which felt very dismissive) so it wouldn't warrant an exception.

La cocina no disponía de sartén. La solicitamos y no fue posible disponer de una, teniendo que cocinar únicamente con cazos. Creo que es algo fácilmente mejorable y esencial.
El aire acondicionado del salón (junto al sofá) se ponía en marcha de vez en cuando a pesar de estar apagado. La primera noche desde las 3 de mañana haciendo ruido. La segunda, tras comunicarlo, no se encendió, pero la tercera y última se repitió el problema siendo muy incómodo.
Por último, sabíamos que el hotel admitía mascotas. La habitación estaba muy limpia en general, sin embargo, al abrir el sofá-cama vimos algunos pelos de perro blancos en la parte inferior de los cojines que no deben estar ahí pues dan síntoma de no limpiar a fondo.

Que no tiene parqueo y solo hay parqueos que cuestan dinero al rededor.

It was very business like, not really a comfotable holiday hotel, more oof a business stay hotel, a little clinical to be fair.

Nothing to complain about. Everything met our expectations and we had a very comfortable stay.
