Pros:

Location was great. We were in Dawson for Discovery Days and to do some exploring in the area.

Cons:

When we arrived the night clerk told me that we had booked two rooms and if we should contact Booking to cancel the second room. Before I could contact Booking to cancel the second room, I was told that the second room was booked manually by the hotel. All in all, my first hour or so at the hotel was frustrating and disappointing. The more I heard from the night clerk the more I recognized her focus was on shifting blame for the error onto anyone other than the hotel. The next day, the Assistant Manager was able to sort out the issue.

it was good, a little noisy when bar closed. were woken up at 3 am with partiers returning to rooms

Really enjoyed the breakfast. Would be nice if they had a bigger venue. There was a long line up to get into restaurant.

Cons:

The waiting in the line up for breakfast. They only served breakfast, no lunch or supper. the other part of the restaurant was a bar and that was open for only lunch and dinner. having small children did not allow us to have meals there.

Cons:

Dawson City isn't a town for limited access people, I picked this place as it looked the most accessible. The staff however would just sit there and stare as I struggled up the stairs with bags and a walker. They all assumed I was a cruise ship tourist despite my having driven there. The restaurant only accepts cash and they didn't have a sign or mention at the start and made me pay in USD. I complained to the manager and got my money back.

Pros:

Booking.com failed Got the confirmation number and when I got to the hotel they had nothing. I am done with booking.com. This is not the first time this has happened. Good luck getting to talk and solve the problem.

Excellent location, comfortable and friendly. Great food.
Pros:

Central location, loved the old building and the history.
We had a huge corner room with sofa and kitchenette, it was very comfortable.
Especially loved the welcome from the lady on reception, the handwritten note and $10 gift card was a lovely surprise.
Breakfast was excellent and lots of food. Supper in the lounge was great, limited bar food menu but it was a nice lounge area for lunch and to just sit as long as wanted. Seemed to be a popular local place very friendly.
Will definitely choose the hotel on our next visit.
