Modern stylish hotel close to both rice fields and old Hoi An

Very smart and comfortable hotel with staff that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Outstanding breakfast. Free hotel shuttle to the old town or less than USD 2 via plentiful Grab cars. Located right next to rice fields and local streets that make for interesting walks to see local life. Would undoubtedly use this hotel again if in Hou An

Cons:

A little away from the main center - need to take a taxi always. Service could be better - asked for more water and was informed that only 2 small bottles were given per room. Breakfast adequate but quality and variety a little below expectations

This is the second time in six months that we have stayed in this hotel and we will go back
Pros:

The Grand Sunrise Palace Hotel in Hoi An is simply terrific. This is our second stay here in six months, and once again the experience has been outstanding. The guest relations officers, Kathy and Ame are wonderful — professional, helpful, and always ready to greet guests with a warm smile.

The breakfast is exceptional, with an enormous variety of dishes. What we especially appreciated was the excellent selection of freshly prepared vegetarian options, the fruit juicer where you can create your own fresh juice combinations, and the small healthy elixir served every morning. On top of that, there were countless other choices available.

Another highlight of the hotel is the rooftop swimming pool overlooking the surrounding countryside. While it may not be the largest pool we encountered during our trip, it was definitely one of our favorites. The consistent 1.5 meter depth makes it perfect for swimming lengths, which we really enjoy.

We also spent a great deal of time in the spa, which became one of our favorite places in the hotel. Almost every day we started with half an hour in the sauna, followed by a wonderful massage. In my case, I was lucky enough to have several treatments from Tina, an excellent massage therapist with truly magic hands.

The hotel restaurant is also excellent, offering a wide range of local and European dishes, along with a very nice wine selection, which was important to me personally.

We had been looking forward to returning to this hotel, and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. We were not disappointed for a single moment.

We were very satisfied with our stay.
Pros:

The hotel deserves nothing but praise. I would especially like to highlight Luna and Amet – they were incredibly kind and accommodating. It’s a hotel where you truly feel welcome (99% 😊).

The service was excellent, and the breakfast was very good as well. The room was lovely and clean – I can’t say a single negative thing about it. The hotel matched the photos perfectly, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
