Wonderful staff - lovely hotel for good value.
Pros:

The location was great for us - near to the paddy field cafes - not too far from the beach and only a few mins (10) by taxi into town.
There is a wonderful tailor over the road called Alibaba where we had some clothes made. Much less pushy than on town, and there is great massage parlour also (linh I think). Also a shop called moonmilk for any groceries etc.

Cons:

The gym was basic and needs a little upgrade. One thing we thought was a little lacking was a bar lounge area where you can feel you want to relax with a cocktail. There are just a few sofas at the edge of the restaurant and I think this puts people off having cocktails there.
Apart from that all great and staff were amazing.

All exceptional staff especially Ella, Kathy, Ame in reception, restaurant, spa & pool staff & Koi our driver. Above and beyond all expectations. Many different types of cuisines to suit all pallets. V relaxed atmosphere & could not do more to accommodate any guests needs. Highly recommended. The staff truly make this experience

Absolutely outstanding stay in Hoi An! The two pools were incredible — perfect to relax at any time of the day. The room was super comfortable and truly flawless, everything worked perfectly and felt very well thought out.

The breakfast was easily the best of our entire trip — amazing variety and quality. But what really made the experience special was the staff: always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed.

A very special thanks to Ela, Katy and Koi for their excellent work — they made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Nothing to complain about — everything was perfect. If anything, it could be great to have a few more vegan options or a clearer separation from meat at breakfast, but overall it was excellent.

Erstklassige Unterkunft in zentraler Lage
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist erstklassig und in einem sehr schönen Raum. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend. Es gibt zwei Pools und die Lage ist ebenfalls großartig.

A fantastic find!
Pros:

Just about everything! Wonderful staff, fantastic value, close to old town and beaches, great breakfast. We loved our stay, and Ame was a credit to the hotel. We'd love to return one day!

Cons:

We thought that the location, midway between old town and beach, might be a drawback. However, Grabs were (mostly) very easy to find, and there were plenty of restaurants etc close by. We enjoyed using the free bikes to get around, too.
The pool upstairs was of a good size, but the water seemed to contain an unusual amount of chemicals!

Unglaubliches Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis
Pros:

Ein sehr stil- und geschmackvolles Hotel mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal. Von Somelier Mr. V bis zu den Empfangsdamen Ella, Luna und Co. waren alle überaus zuvorkommend und bemüht. Dazu noch ein fantastisches Frühstücks Buffet und sogar eine Einladung für einmal Nachmittags Kaffee/Tee mit Kuchen und Obst.
Zwei Pools und die angenehme Lage zwischen Old Town und Strand müssen auch noch erwähnt werden.

Im Großen und Ganzen für einige Nächte akzeptabel – vorausgesetzt, man erhält kein Zimmer zur Straßenseite.
Pros:

Die Zimmer waren groß und komfortabel.

Cons:

Bei der Sauberkeit besteht noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, sodass man nachts häufig durch Straßenlärm geweckt wird. Zudem war das Frühstück jeden Tag identisch und wenig abwechslungsreich.

Despite a less central location and a few minor quirks, this hotel delivers the most complete and enjoyable stay so far,
Pros:

This hotel easily takes first place out of the three I’ve stayed at so far. The room was stunning and generously sized, with excellent water pressure in the shower. Small touches really elevated the experience — the arrival snacks, complimentary afternoon tea, turndown service, and those extra afternoon treats all made it feel thoughtful and indulgent. The service stood out as genuinely warm and attentive throughout. Breakfast was extensive and high quality, with plenty of choice, though the black tea could have been hotter. I also really appreciated the massage discount voucher, and the in-house massage itself was excellent.

Cons:

The location isn’t as convenient as being in the Old Town, although the hotel does provide a shuttle (I ended up just using Grab scooters). On arrival, part of the floor looked quite dirty, but this turned out to be paint rather than dust — once clarified, cleanliness was clearly not an issue. A few smaller details could be improved: no black tea provided in the room, and the sandwich and fries came with ketchup whereas aioli would have been a more modern accompaniment. While there are cheaper tailors nearby compared to the Old Town, there are fewer external massage options, and those available tend to be overpriced. Laundry across the road is convenient, though the hotel’s own laundry service is more expensive than what I experienced in Hanoi and Da Nang. At the rooftop pool, it wasn’t clear where to get towels, and communication with staff was a bit difficult — something as simple as placing fresh towels on loungers would improve the experience. Lastly, soundproofing could be better through the room door, as corridor noise carries quite easily, so earplugs are recommended if you’re a light sleeper.

Everything about Sunrise Palace was beyond our expectations. Great customer service, amazing facility, and breakfasts 10+. Shout out to the staff..they were always looking for ways to make our stay better!!
