Pros:

My flight was delayed and I arrived at Cara Rustic Apartment at 4:30 am to find the front gate shut with a bike lock. No one responded when I rang the bell. I was left outside by myself in cold weather. I ended up finding a different hotel with an open room and staying there instead.

Cara Rustic Apartment never apologized to me or responded to me in any way. They ignored my request for a refund. Orbitz has also failed to help me get a refund either, so I guess I'm just out several hundred dollars?

Easily the single worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Pros:

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this apartment. Upon arrival, I found the bedsheets to be visibly dirty, with actual dirt stuck to them. The bathroom was in poor condition, with mold and a hole in the ceiling, and the entire apartment had a pervasive moldy smell. I originally booked fully paid a four-night stay but felt compelled to leave after the first night due to these unacceptable conditions. Unfortunately, the owner refused to issue a refund, adding to the frustration. I cannot recommend this property to others.

Pros:

I had an absolutely amazing time staying here. The staff were attentive, kind and welcoming. I especially want to say that Kim was an amazing host who took the time to answer my questions and suggest many beautiful places to visit. She made my stay even better! The hotel’s location is very convenient and a one minute walk from the beach.
The next time I stay in HANOI I will stay at this apartment for sure. Thank you so much for your hospitality ❤️

Pros:

We had the absolute best time at this apartment. The staff was super welcoming and helpful with our many questions. They went above and beyond to make sure our room was set, laundry done in a timely manner and our breakfast needs were met.

It’s also a great location being a 30 minutes walk to the old town. They set our airport transfer professionally.

The suite apartment on the top floor is beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely be back!
