My wife and I stayed at Hanoi La Palm Premier Hotel and Spa for 28 nights in March 2026. My daughter and her partner also stayed here for two weeks at the start of our trip. Firstly, the location in the old quarter is excellent for anything you wish to do in Hanoi. Next most important for us, the staff were absolutely brilliant; super friendly and accommodating, they could not have been more helpful in assisting us with random questions, currency exchange and travel arrangements. The hotel costs were very, very reasonable and as a result, we were able to keep the room whilst having a few trips away to Sapa, Halong Bay and Ha Giang etc, without lugging all our suitcases with us. In terms of the hotel and facilities, the rooms and bedding were very clean, with fridge, TV, couch, safe, aircon, en-suite, kettle, tea & coffee, and we got a free upgrade to a suite for 28 days. Just remember, this is a quirky hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi, so if you’re expectations are Hilton or Fairmont standard - then you should pay 3 to 5 times the price and stay at one of those 5 star hotels, outside the old quarter… just saying. :-)
We loved this place; when returning from trips away it felt like coming home with a warm smile and cheerful greeting from the staff. Highly recommended and we fully intend to return here in late 2027.

After almost 10 days spent in different hotels in Hanoi, I can say that this was the cleanest of all. It doesn't smell like mold and very quiet. The staff was very kind to us and they even helped us with transportation to the airport at a much better price than on the app. I recommend staying here. Very close to all the tourist spots.

Martin at reception was exceptionally accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. As first-time visitors to Hanoi, we initially felt overwhelmed, but thanks to his guidance and local recommendations, we quickly felt comfortable navigating the city like locals.
He went above and beyond to assist us, even securing theater tickets at the last minute when they were no longer available online. One evening, when we became hungry late at night, he also helped arrange food for us. His dedication, resourcefulness, and genuine care made our visit even more enjoyable. Martin is truly the person to turn to when visiting Hanoi.
David was equally helpful in organizing our local excursions and arranged an unforgettable tour that became one of the highlights of our trip.
The rest of the team were also consistently polite, friendly, and professional. Their warm hospitality made our stay in Hanoi a memorable one.

The hotel is conveniently located near the lake and the weekend night market, with many popular restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops within walking distance.

The rooms were spacious compared to many other hotels in the area and provided a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fairly standard, not particularly memorable, but sufficient to start the day.

Отель расположен в старом квартале Ханоя, все достопримечательности возможно обойти пешком. Единственное, нужно небольшой навык, чтобы ходить вместе в огромным количеством мопедов. Обратите внимание, в отеле разные номера по категориям, те что немного подороже сильно комфортнее. Также есть комнаты без лифта, но очень уютные, с балконом и хорошим видом. Персонал проявляет заботу о своих туристах, помогает в решении возникающих вопросов.
