Hillcrest Motel By OYO Aurora IN Near Lawrenceburg

I stayed at this hotel last night and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The room smelled terrible, the sheets were old, yellow, and dirty — they even had hair from other people on them. Everything felt filthy and disgusting. I couldn’t sleep at all because of how unhygienic the place was. This hotel seriously needs to be inspected and cleaned properly. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Rude pushy took from my account and never returned it for s room I never started in

I stayed for 7 days and not once was my room cleaned,no clean towels and trash never taken out. Best I know no one ever entered my room for any reason. Staff I encountered spoke very little English.

Rude service , uncomfortable people.
Room was fine for what it was, very outdated. But if ya need a place for a night it's cheap.

Had issues checking in. People congratulations outside at 11pm.
Man walked up and asked for ride to the liquor store someone has a bed they were laying in at check-in attached visibly to the office..

High end amenities without the high end price. Clean, comfortable, recently remodeled, safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything is always clean. Close to store and quiet

There was roaches in the bathroom and fridge was dirty. Staff was nice though

Great Place to stay!

Very dirty. Towels were dirty, sheets were dirty. There was "dried liquid" on the walls. It's very loud from the highway, I'm pretty sure it's because the doors on the rooms aren't sealed up. one day they want to charge you $85 to stay there and then the next day they want to charge you $70 in the day after that it goes up to $100 for some reason! The owner told me that the price went up to 100 because it was a weekend, Wednesday is not a weekend day.

Beds sucked!! ! Shower was horrible I had to go buy my own shower head. WiFi only worked outside the room which was pointless. Nobody ever changed out the towels and the exhaust vent did not work in the bathroom. So therefore it was not a good experience!!

This place is appalling. The owners are cheap and filthy. Filth literally dripping down the walls. You don't even get soap to wash your hands with. No shampoo. Nothing. Every towel has stains. The pillows are flat and stained. The mattresses are ancient and uncomfortable. The room had an overpowering scent of some sort. Most of the rooms have people actually living there and it was noisy all night. Shower curtain was orange around the bottom from mold. Avoid this dump!!

As soon as I entered the building men kept banging on the door trying to get inside. Bed was disgusting, curse words written all over the walls, bathroom was gross, the lock was just a push button. Rude staff, people complaining that the owner goes through peoples things and kicks people out at 8 am

The property was dirty, drafty in. We found bedbugs will not ever stay there again.

Stinky odor in the room. No carpet/cold floor. Both lamps not working. No privacy curtain in the bathroom window. Damaged walls and doorways. Water heat ran out quickly.

The price was good, the staff was very helpful.

Older Motel in need of an update.. Musty / Smoky smelling room. Uncomfortable bed/pillows. Will NOT stay there again.

This was a very pleasant motel to stay in. The owners were the sweeter couple and son. Our room was very clean and had recently been remodeled. Great area to stay in! Will definitely be back!

Worst stay ever in my past 16 yrs traveling from Niagara to Texas. This property is old & now in the hands of people that don’t care to give confort. They don’t have the minimal standards of hospitality, cleanliness & care the North American society demands. You as a provider of these places for travelers should investigate every property,before you offerer it to YOUR clients. We all expect that from you. Appreciated.!
