Beautiful stay on the river!
Pros:

We had the best stay at the Leeway! While they dont have a traditional front desk or restaurant/bar, they make up for it with excellent and warm hotel communication via text. Anything we needed, they were a fast text away. The property is quaint, just off the river and close to so many Catskills favorites. The room was equipped with all we could need - including gear for outdoor excursions (which we did not need per se, but such a nice, thoughtful touch). Couldnt recommend the Leeway more if you are looking for a quick getaway in the area and want something a bit more laid back without sacrificing modern design and comfort

Feels like an idyllic cabin in the woods, with modern amenities
Pros:

Feels like a private cabin, and the layout creates a much bigger sense of space. We only stayed a night while skiing but could easily imagine staying for longer periods.

A cozy room in an attractive park-like setting, adjoining the Esopus Creek.
Pros:

A rustic style cabin nestled in the Catskills, located on an attractive property, next to the Esopus Creek.

Cons:

The shower stall was a little tight with no space to place my soap and shampoo except ontop of the door frame. Similarly, the toilet was in a tight space as well. The walls were a bit thin as well.

Wunderschön besonders
Pros:

Wunderschöne Natur, stilvoll-gemütlich modern eingerichtete Unterkunft, luxuriös Bettwäsche und Handtücher.
Haben beim Farmstand schräg gegenüber (beeindruckendes Sortiment) eingekauft und selbst gekocht, weil wir den Abend und der schönen Unterkunft genießen wollten!
Tee am Morgen unten am Creek - was für ein Start in den Tag!

The best cozy stay
Pros:

The leeway was very beautiful perfect for 2 people big cozy bed and nice living room area there are most definitely many places to eat nearby and lots of trails to walk and be one with nature and the small stream at the end was a breath taking view so beautiful in the morning with coffee i will be coming back

Peaceful escape
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at The Leeway. This retreat location with a cozy room 3 and peaceful surroundings is idyllic. You are within 100 yards walking distance to the river where a fire pit, chairs are readily available.
We have a dog but did not bring ours but our next door rental did and we enjoyed talking with them. The room was super clean with a small refrigerator. If you like music, there was a small Marshall speaker you could sync to Bluetooth on your phone. The only mild inconvenience is that the shower stall and bathroom in room 3 does not suit large sized individuals.
If you are driving too fast on Route 28, you could pass the entrance to The Leeway. It is not well lit in the evening.

Wonderful with a pinch of salt
Pros:

The Leeway is a beautiful cottage type motel. The location and rooms are nice, clean and lovely. The quiet surrounding is peaceful.

Cons:

While the Amenities are wonderful, one thing really bothered us. In the booking process, while selecting suits, we didn’t notice anywhere that those were duplexes with the beds upstairs n wash rooms downstairs. Also the stair cases are narrow spiral ones that we felt were very inconvenient. Wish they mention that duplex info and actual photos of the rooms in the booking sites. There is only a drawing of the rooms that is not enough. Apart from that - all were good.
