We would definitely stay there again, all I need is the beach!
Pros:

The simplicity of it, nothing fancy, just a clean place to stay and enjoy the beautiful quiet beach. Easy to get to nearby restaurants but far enough away from the crowds/commercialism.

Cons:

A little outdated but we're not picky.

Hotel on the beach
Pros:

The property had an amazing location to the beach , and the balcony view was amazing. Also being a family oriented island and establishment it could not have been more peaceful . The wife and I wanted a quick getaway before we started the big summer vacations with all the kids and grandkids . Sitting on the balcony at night was almost completely silent. That made the entire trip worth it . We couldn't appreciate the respect for others that was shown by all other guests . Sitting in the dark balcony only listening to the ocean was absolutely capitol!

Cons:

The tiny coffee pot that took forever to brew 1 cup of coffee, the pillows where terrible , the shower curtain barely made it to the floor allowing water to spill out almost freely in the bathroom floor , we are smokers and I believe its perfectly fine to not smoke in the rooms , we have always been allowed to smoke outside or on the balconies . This made it very uncomfortable as we were staying on the top floor , we had to go all the way down to the parking lot , which was ok but just a terrible inconvenience. And last but not least , we had never stayed at a motel that didn't have an ice machine or bags of ice for sale , again it didn't ruin our trip ,but we had to drive a mile a pay an astounding 17.50 plus a 4 dollar processing fee to get a 10lb bag, for beach pricing as it goes , we literally cleaned the room before we left like a maid service, so for over 700 dollars to stay for 2 nights , I feel this was extremely overpriced .

We visit Topsail Beach once a year and are repeat travelers to the Sea Vista Motel!
Pros:

Easy check in with friendly and helpful staff; clean rooms with beautiful view of the ocean - quiet area through day and night. perfect little weekend getaway for the family! We always come. back! :)

Pros:

not enough plates, etc. if we wanted to bring home a meal. no dish cloth or sponge. very expensive for what we got.had to.ask for coffee packs & we only got 2 for the stay. left a day early

The beach was the highlight of this trip!
Pros:

The location, town, and beach is beautiful.

Cons:

Our room was not clean: the walls had stains on them, the shower curtain was moldy in several places, the couch was dirty and stained, the bed frame and puctures had layers of dust on them, and there were dead bugs on the floor and behind the bed. When I said so at check out, I was told that other guests had also complained and that the head housekeeper had been slacking off.
