Die Lage war ganz, man kam schnell zum Nationalpark und zum Canyon
Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr enttäuschenden Aufenthalt hier. Es verspricht nicht das was sie hier auf Booking beschrieben haben. Hier die Sachen die uns nicht gefallen haben:
Kein englischsprachiges Personal an der Rezeption und wir hatte auch erst das falsche Zimmer bekommen. Die Zimmer waren schon älter und teilweise sind die Fliesen im Bad/ in der Dusche kaputt und locker. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht und Ameisen im Bett. Man darf auch scheinbar in der Lobby rauchen?! Bezahlung sollte irgendwie auch immer an eine Privatperson laufen und nicht über einen Business Code?! (wir sollten mit WeChat/Alipay zahlen) Wenn man nach einem Taxi gefragt hatte wurde einem ein privater Transfer berechnet (ca 30% mehr als mit Taxi)

No food in the hotel. They do not clean the room while you are there. They hardly make the bed. The bed was too hard.
Personal encantador y resolutivo, el hotel tiene encanto, es comodo (con ascensor) y un patio bonito donde desayunar. Esta cerca de tiendas y restaurantes, pero en zona tranquila.
La entrada al parque natural esta a 5min en didi o 40min andando. Te invitan a té que te lo hacen en el momento, muy amables. La habitacion bonita y comoda, pero algunos enchufes no funcionaban.
Por ser semana festiva en china quisieron cobrarnos un plus, pero todo quedo en una confusion.

Some of the rooms need renovation/ maintenance: cobwebs in the ceiling, there was a hole in the flooring and the shower holder was not properly fixed to the wall.

Nice location to explore Zhangjiajie national park (25 min walk to the East gate). The rooms are simple, but there is everything you need for a short stay. Hotel staff was also so nice contacting us in advance, suggesting how to plan our days and booking all tickets.
The front desk girls were really helpful with planning out my visit the national park and glass bridge. Spent over half an hour explaining and drawing out routes and what is the best path for our situation. Wouldn't have enjoyed the trip as much without the help. The rooms were good and clean.
Nothing to complain about
Handy location, WiFi, tasty enough breakfast, complimentary drinks, extra helpful staff. Really good value for money. A nice stay.

This hotel is very good, very good value for money, the room is spacious and bright, the health is very clean, the sound insulation is also very good, it is very comfortable to live here, and the experience is great!

They have changed the location of lobby, as if you are not aware you think you walk into a tea shop first.
Clean, super convenient location, room is exactly as described. Would say that the lady is a super host, introduced and explained to us how to tour zhangjiajie and offer to help us with all the booking (they have no commission, it’s purely a service provided). This hotel is part of the 索溪山寨 hotel chain that consist of restaurants. So it’s restaurant is right beside and the food 三下锅 and the alcohol is very awesome! And there’s 10% discount when you show your room card. There’s also a shared and portable dryer in the room that is pay-as-you-use. Overall, an awesome experience that I would recommend to all!
The only slightly bad thing is that the toilet is glass door and only covered with a translucent curtain. Also, the main door of the accom closes at 12am so after 12am we had to go through the garage which is super dark. But all is well, felt very safe in the town.
Excellent location, excellent staff who were very helpful with all of our questions including booking tours for us and we communicated mostly through translation application with no problems! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Highly recommend.

Quite close to the mountains, got a map although advice was not very usable, we were warned that one day is too short for a trip, well it was way more than enough, too many bus trips and cable cars available, the view is repetitive, you can tour enough for a lifetime in a day.
I'm glad booking let's me rate even if the owner revoked my invitation to review. End of October, thin blankets, heating off. Courtyard style, cold building, rooms got inner courtyard windows, teashop downstairs, noisy place. Got a room near the common toilet, got changed for one right by the elevator. That's about staff helpfulness. The shower leaking in the bottom, can't close the glass door either. Dust and spider webs, humid walls, paint coming off. Might have been a good place for a summer stay back in the day. Some of the rooms feature a dust covered pointless mahjong table though.
