Pros:

I have no words to express how kind and thoughtful the staff at this hotel were. I was travelling alone with my 13-year-old son when he developed a fever, and they went above and beyond to help me in every possible way, from allowing late check out, to helping me find the medicines we needed, to arranging a car to our next destination.
I would especially like to thank a gentleman (perhaps the manager?) and the young nepalese woman staff member who spoke perfect English. Their kindness made such a difference, especially when travelling in a country where you don't speak the language, it can be very easy to feel lost and overwhelmed.
The hotel itself is an excellent five-star property, with extremely comfortable beds and a very good and varied breakfast.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for taking such good care of us.

A Grand Place to Stay
Pros:

Once you enter the main reception of the hotel you know straight away why it's called Grand. Chandeliers hanging high in the ceiling reflecting on a shiny marble floor you haven't time to really notice as your luggage is taken from you and handled by the porters. After a brief conversation at the receptionist desk, your luggage is taking to the elevator. Inside your room, everything is what you are hoping for. Fridge, large television, and a toilet seat that automatically open when you enter the area.

Cons:

Only problem, like all Chinese hotels with a pool, you must wear a bathing hat. Lucky for me I had one.

Pros:

The room, was large and very comfortable, the bathroom beautiful. The hotel doesn't look very old, the entrance and hallways are all beautiful.

Cons:

We couldn't workout how to turn the actual toilet light off.
