Clean hotel but lacking in services, staff were excellent in helping with ordering food from outside
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to help

Cons:

Details are incorrect, there is no real restaurant on site, Pavillion is only for Breakfast, there is a local chinese restaurant in a shared facility but not owned by the hotel and is very local. There is no room service as there is no restaurant.
Breakfast started at 6.30am, in reality this meant they started setting up around this time, last day half the options were still not available but couldn' wait as had flight to catch.
Location is away from everything so not even a local shop to buy food.

Pros:

The rooms are new, big and very comfortable. Expecialy there is a sofa and a table that makes also to work possible. There is a nice swimming pool and an independent restaurant that is good. The staff is kind but a part for a man that could speak well english the other did not and this made things sometime difficult. However we had twice a problem with the air condition and using the translator they could understand and fix it.
To work at the westlake university is the best option. To visit the city it is possible to take a taxi, that are efficient and cheap in China.

Cons:

At the breakfast there was only lipton tee in bags!! How is it possible that in the longjin tee area, home of the best tee of the world you offer such a bad one?
Unfortunately in the area there are essentialy no restaurants a part of the one in the same building. This was the main problem for us.

Pros:

A relative new hotel but with no amenities near by.

Cons:

The given name Hangzhou Xihu is deceiving as it is a good 40m drive away from Xihu itself. Any tourist will be misleading
