There should have been a staff member each shift that spoke reasonably well in English. Also your lounge/bar closed too early.
The hotel is close to the Nanxun old town, which is built on water canals. In the evening illuminated boats fill the waterways, and women dressed in traditional costumes pose for photographers. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the old town, which is a few kilometers away. The hotel architecture is stunning. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice.
