Big rooms, beautiful interior decorations, beautifully furnished, staff always ready to help and very friendly, fantastic location, can do a lot of things by foot. We felt very comfortable, thank you team!

Cons:

Beautiful bar but can't have a drink - we knew this beforehand through reading the reviews but the hotel could be a bit more explicit about being halal only.
breakfast times are frankly too early (until half 10am) and staff is annoyed when you come to breakfast at half 10, so it's actually even earlier. they made us wait for our breakfast half an hour that morning and got the order wrong (I asked for vegetarian and they brought bacon and sausage). Other than this mishap we liked our stay very much.

Historical building, home-feeling hotel in the center of Johannesburg.
Pros:

Impressive historical building, exceptional decorated with antiques, wallpapers, art pieces and paintings, boutique home-style hotel, luxury, spacious, at a very good location, very nice breakfast a la carte, you can order whatever you like from a big variety, served in a cosy dining area. The family suite has one bedroom with two king size beds, suitable to accommodate even 4 persons of a family. There is also a nice living room area in the suite and an enormous bathroom with L'Occitane amenities. A welcomed plate with fruits was offered us upon our arrival.

Cons:

I loved everything about my stay. A minibar in the room would be a nice addition. Just a small personal preference: the -so nice- bathrobe felt a bit heavy and oversized for my comfort.

Peacefull and well cared for stay in central Rosebank
Pros:

The staff is amazing, well trained and go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much to ask for and you are always welcomed and served with a smile. The food is excellent. The room exceeded our expectations. We were early for our breakfast as we had an early appointment, and this was absolutely no problem for the staff.

Cons:

Nothing that is worth mentioning as the entire experience / stay was perfect.
