L’emplacement, une climatisation silencieuse, une chambre nickel
It’s an interesting building in a lovely position with great views. Inside everything looked lovely.
Essentially this is a restaurant with rooms; the focus being on the foodie experience. Unfortunately we didn’t know that, when making a short notice booking and felt €35 each for breakfast excessive. Tasting menu for dinner was about €110 each. Air con is controlled centrally, rooms were minimally furnished so no table, very small shower room with insufficient hanging space. No complimentary water. The ‘look’ outweighs the utility of the room so you ‘pays your money and takes your choice.’ If the food experience is your thing then it’s a good place to stay. Staff didn’t have any info about walks/hiking in the area which was disappointing.
El lloc és preciós. La reforma que s’ha fet a l’antiga casona és realment exquisit. Es una combinació perfecte de bon gust i comfort.

Está un poco mal señalizado para llegar y estaría bien que tengan la cocina un poco más de continuo, que entre el desayuno y la comida tengas algo para poder pedir de picoteo aunque sea

Lovely location, fantastic building, friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic small hotel with 11 rooms in the countryside, 45 minutes from Bilbao, very tranquil. The food served in the bar was very good and the gastronomic breakfast in the restaurant was worth every penny. The room was spacious and clean with a fantastic view. Sat outside on the terrace for hours just watching the world go by ....
Il “Pico Velasco” è un raffinato ed elegante hotel rurale immerso nella natura, nel cuore del «Parco Naturale delle Paludi di Santoña». L'edificio, dotato di interni modernissimi, è stato ricavato dalla ristrutturazione di un antico palazzo, conservandone la struttura esterna. Le camere, arredate con sobrio lusso, sono molto spaziose e godono di una magnifica e ampia vista grazie alle vetrate che occupano l'intera parete, il che garantisce anche una luminosità eccezionale. È un peccato che non ci siano molti hotel come questo!
Sarebbe utile disporre di una piccola scrivania (lo spazio non manca!).
