Comfortable room but not noise proof. Coffee so so during breakfast.
Pros:

Big clean room

Cons:

Paper thin walls. Can hear kid screaming next door.
Coffee machine in dining room during breakfast does not function properly, too slow for one cup of cappuccino.

Gutes Hotel, allerdings in sehr lauter Straße
Pros:

Tolle, große Zimmer. Sauber. Gute Lage in der Innenstadt. Sichere Gegend. Supermärkte (7eleven) und diverse Restaurants direkt in der Straße und der Umgebung. Super Aussicht von den oberen Stockwerken.

Cons:

Sehr laut von draußen. (Auch in den oberen Stockwerken, da die Straße, in der das Hotel liegt, rund um die Uhr extrem stark befahren ist und die Fenster überhaupt keinen Schallschutz bieten. Schalldämmende Fenster wären schön.) Die Toilettenspülung hat sehr schlecht funktioniert. (Auch ohne Papier in die Toilette zu werfen, was sehr störend war.)

Very Pleasant Stay at Ramada Encore Hotel
Pros:

1. All the staff, including the front desk, the dining facility, and the cleaning lady, are EXCELLENT. They aim to offer the best customer services. Sunny at the front desk was very enthusiastic to provide the details of the tourist attractions and the transportation options to help me plan out my 5-day visit. 红莲, the service assistant on the 23rd floor, is always pleasant to greet you and very helpful when you need stuff.

2. The location is super CONVENIENT to the train station and to the tour bus parking lot for all day trips. If you could walk 2.5km, the popular Shuangqiao Night Market is a good place for dinner and shopping. If you could ride an electric scooter/moped, Daguan Zhuanxin Farmers' Market (大观篆新农贸市场) and Green Lake Park are about 10 minute away.

3. The rooms are BIG, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Sunny kindly arranged for our two rooms right next to each other. We always look forward to returning to the rooms after a productive and fun day roaming in Kunming.

4. The breakfast -- All varieties of food selections for everyone. The staff constantly refilled the food and drinks. We stuffed ourselves with so much healthy delicious food that we simply skipped lunch.

Cons:

There are multiple Ramada hotels in Kunming. Please be specific on Ramada ENCORE. When my cousin took a Didi ride, the driver took him to a different Ramada hotel.

A comfortable stay with helpful staff in a great location.
Pros:

The location near the railway station was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Plentiful and tasty breakfast.

Cons:

The two things I can think of are improving the lift which is slow and takes a lot of time and having instructions in English for the self-service laundry. These would be helpful for guests.

Pros:

Хороший отель неподалеку от железнодорожного вокзала - буквально 10 мин. пешком. Номер хороший, отель предоставляет небольшие комплименты. Поэтому если нужно переночевать у вокзала и ехать дальше, то вполне рекомендую.

Cons:

До центра города, основных достопримечательностей далековато. И очень уж велики щели у двери, что в туалет ведет. Непривычно и весьма смущает.

- ห้องพักกว้างมาก สะอาดมาก อุปกรณ์ครบครับ มีชั้นปลอดบุหรี่โดยเฉพาะ อยู่ชั้นบน วิวเมืองสวยงาม
- ทำเลใกล้ Kunming Station มี 7-eleven ข้างๆโรงแรม
- ราคาห้องพักรวมอาหารเช้าถือว่าคุ้มค่ามาก จะกลับมาพักอีกแน่นอนครับ

- ป้ายชื่อโรงแรมเล็กไป
- หมุดปักใน google map, A map ผิด ต้องเดินต่อไปอีก 300-400 ม. และชื่อโรงแรมใน map ไม่มีภาษาอังกฤษ
แต่นั่นเป็นแค่เรื่องเล็กๆน้อยๆ

A clean place to stay close to the train station from the airport
Pros:

Very friendly welcome from the staff members. They gave me a free room upgrade to a very high floor which was a welcome addition after a long flight from the UK.

The room was so spacious, clean and had a massive projector which you could connect your laptop too with a hdmi!

Cons:

Not really much. It Smelt a bit outside the property but that’s not their problem 😂
