Check in is nearly impossible as the key is left in the room, behind locked doors and an elevator wherein you need to USE THE KEY to make it work. They’ve withheld my damage deposit for nearly 14 days with no communication. Force you to send money outside of Expedia which is a BREACH OF STANDARDS. They want your ID. they want your money. They won’t even tell you where they are located. Ghost company who will rob you blind if you let them.
The room itself was fine- be aware that the bed is extremely soft- like a big marshmallow- if you have a bad back it's worth noting.
My biggest complaint had to do with the state of disrepair of a few key elements of the room- the dishwasher was broken and the air conditioning system was also broken. The only way to get ventilation was through a small window the size of a shoebox so the room was very stuffy- and since the room abuts train tracks you hear every train passing by at all hours of the day and night. If I had been informed up front that these items were broken I might have passed on the room.
The other weird issue was with the parking- we opted to pay $20/night to use the units assigned parking space and we were given access to a key fob to the garage that didn't seem to work reliably. Nonetheless we parked in the designated spot the first night and wound up getting a ticket from the City of Toronto for $75. If you bring a car, just park on the first floor and use the kiosk to buy a night pass for $24 which is what we ended up doing.
If I were to return to Toronto, I would stay elsewhere.....
We enjoyed the location. However, the aesthetic of the condo didn’t fully match the photos. The walls were two toned and towel rack was not on the wall. However, the place was clean. Check in was a bit confusing. We had to ask security to buzz us up in the elevator as you needed a key to access each floor. Communication was not very clear by the host. Main bedroom had a block of wood under the bed- constantly stubbing toes on this. View however was great of the city buzz.

The property was clean, I loved the proximity to everywhere. The only issue was the a/c and the sockets in the in the master bedroom were not working.

Beautiful views and clean unit in a good location. Noisy next to the freeway and a window that would not close fully. Unit tended to be warm despite air conditioning use
Two nights, yeah, not great. Check-in was a nightmare-stood outside for an hour. Staff wasn’t much help either, and the AC was dead. Rooms are decent enough, but I’d only come back if I had zero better options.
The property was nice and clean.
The property itself is nice, the communication with the company is an absolute joke. They ask you to give a deposit via PayPal then they make you chase them down to get it back. Check in they ask you to email copies of your ID and you holding it, which I don’t need to say how risky that is if their email ever gets hacked. It took until an hour before I checked in to get my check in I go after calling and emailing for days prior to arriving. The entire process was incredibly stressful, and I have yet to receive my deposit.
Not great at communicating… no air condition working even though it was listed and then the host just stopped responding, I checked out early because it was VERY hot.
Condo was clean. Very confusing where to park when gathering keys and parking fob.

Needs paint badly. Makes it look like walls are filthy. Area rug in living room had sticky bbq sauce or something on it that was missed by cleaning staff. Blinds in bed room are missing a couple slats and do not work. So light comes in the room when you are trying to get to sleep. Fix your god damn blinds. Unacceptable that the window coverings do not work in the bedroom.
The air conditioning system was broken and the window wouldn't open. Dishwasher was broken. Bed was uncomfortable. The city view is actually the train tracks. The blinds didn't close properly. Cannot stress how seriously I can say this: Do not stay here.
Hotels․com customer service were absolutely amazing, 10/10 cannot fault them at all, they were trying to help me for hours, because this hotel just ignored me and told me to open the window.... Which had its crank handle snapped off.
I would not recommend.
There were no toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash)
The linens in the bed were stained and the duvet for the sofa bed that is in the bedroom closet is full of yellow stains and smelled like something died in it.
The bed frame is broken and they screwed pieces of wood to the side which made it dangerous to break toes.
The batteries were dead in the thermostat which made it impossible to adjust temperature.
The apartment is run down. The paint in the bedroom is not finished. It was not very clean. Counters were dirty and so were the dishes in the cupboards.
It smelled like cigarette smoke really bad in the apartment.
Overall I’m very disappointed with the rental. It is definitely not luxurious by any means.

La communication est difficile, le check-in également. Personne sur place pour nous accueillir. Aucun endroit pour laisser nos bagages si on arrive avant l’heure. On nous envoie à 1km où on doit payer 12,25$ par valise. Très bruyant, directement au dessus de l’autoroute et les rails du train. Seul point positif: l’emplacement.
J’ai reçu un courriel le lendemain de mon départ pour me dire que deux serviettes étaient tachées et qu’ils me chargeait 35$ sur le dépôt de sécurité. C’était impossible, nous avons utilisé les serviettes adéquatement, juste pour de l’eau. Ils disent qu’ils vérifient quand les serviettes sont lavées et séchées, mais comment se fait-il qu’il y avait des serviettes des précédents locataires qui tournaient dans la sécheuse quand nous sommes arrivés? Ça ne tient pas debout. Gestion douteuse.
The check in process was horrible!! They swnt me check in information 2hrs after the check in time (sent at around 6p). The air did not work at all, they only communicated via text and only offered sending me trouble shooting text for me ro try and fix the thermostat myself! Unsuccessful so we had a hot uncomfortable night! The dishwasher was broken and they wrote on a paper towel out of order! The bedding was badly stained, and there was no extra linen! The shower handle was stripped so it took me forever to cut it on, i had to apply pressure and push it in and turn the knob. I wouldn't recommend this property at all!! It could be a nice place but seems to be slum when it comes to keeping up the maintenance etc!!
The property was nice and clean. The only issue was the sketchy emails requesting the deposit and ID. We also couldn’t access the pool and fitness center in the building, and called GlobalStay who stated it was the building management’s responsibility to give us access. On the other hand, the building management stated that GlobalStay had to give us access to the fitness center and pool. Was a confusing situation but pleasant stay nonetheless.
