There are better places to stay in Plett for the same price
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the views from breakfast and the rooftop bar are great

Cons:

My wife and swim and lie by the pool read a book etc. The loungers are old and not in good shape with no cushions. When we asked for pool towels, we were given Corona towels (freebies from the beer supplier) which were old and worn. Very poor for a 4 star hotel.

Pros:

Eigentlich alles, das Zimmer war traumhaft schön eingerichtet mit vielen kleinen Details. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ( sowohl Früstück als auch Abendessen) war fantastisch. Die Lage war perfekt, die Rooftopbar hat eine ausserordentlich schöne Aussicht. Es war perfekt. Wenn wir wieder nach Plettenbergbay kommen dann nur im Ivory Haus.

Pros:

We had the best time there. The restaurant "The Palms" had the best food and such friendly staff. We stayed at the Ivory Haus for our honeymoon and the staff made us feel at home and celebrated. We will definitely be back for our anniversary

Pros:

The Ivory Haus is a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The quality of the food is very high with a wine and drinks list to suit most tastes. Wonderful views from the roof-top bar.

Cons:

The swimming pool was very, very small and the surrounding decking area was not really suitable for sunbathing. No on-site parking.
