Very good breakfast, excellent services
Un plauso alla SPA. A prima vista la tariffa di 30 Euro potrebbe sembrare strana: ci si aspetta che la SPA sia inclusa. Poi si capisce la ragione. La zona wellness deve essere prenotata e diventa praticamente una "private SPA" e questo comfort è impagabile! Poter godere di tutta l'area in totale privacy è davvero "priceless" :)
Forse l'unica parte dell'hotel che non è altezza della struttura è la veranda. L'ho trovata un po' sotto tono rispetto al resto dell'albergo. L'altra cosa migliorabile sono i tavoli della colazione: secondo me sono troppo vicini gli uni agli altri.
This was an absolutely lovely experience. The property and grounds are stunning, the staff are warm, welcoming, attentive, accommodating and professional. We had business in Bilbao and stayed here in Getxo to get away from the city centre and have a treat. Access to the city is quick and easy by car, but equally you could easily get in and out using the convenient metro service.
Our Deluxe Double room was 302, ground floor and tucked away to the rear of the main palace, with it's own separate outdoor entrance, The room was huge, with a massive double shower room, separate smart WC and bathroom, huge 2 x 2m bed, complimentary L'Occitane products and all the other amenities and comforts - including a turn-down service, you would expect in a 5-star hotel. It really delivered on comfort, cleanliness and style. Loved it and recommend highly.
The only slight niggle would be that the pool and spa (sauna, etc) had to be pre-booked at a cost of £30/person/hour. We'd expect access to facilities like these to be free to guests, even if booking is necessary. We did not use these facilities because of lack of access and, frankly, the cost - it's double the cost of La Perla in San Sebastian, with a fraction of the facilities.

Everything, it was beautiful, the building itself has been restored and decorated in a tasteful and elegant way. All the fixtures and fittings were exceptional.

Hay que reservar el spa y el día que fuimos no había disponibilidad, nos quedamos con las ganas.
