Einfach alles! Kommen gerne wieder.
Stunning architecture but service very much below par for a 4 star hotel. Really need to up their game eg at breakfast with more staff serving - one person serving and having to make the coffees meant unnecessary waiting. No one to serve an afternoon drink in the lovely seating area. Poor introduction to the hotel meant we were not made aware of the rooftop bar until we left. A touch of arrogance I felt. I’m sorry as this is a beautiful place in a beautiful city but service needs improvement.
Das Frühstück wurde nicht als Buffet sondern auf Etageren am Tisch serviert - das erlebt man selbst in 5 Sterne Hotels selten. Am ersten Morgen servierte die Hoteldirektorin selbst...
It took a little while to get used to the sink in the middle of the room and the wonderful breakfast did get a little monotonous but neither of those things detracted from a terrific stay at a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and hard working, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the building is just what you’d want it to be in such an historic place. We particularly loved having a little outdoor space to ourselves that led to the shared outdoor patio and pool. Being so close to everything in the old town of Girona was also a huge plus. If you stay for a few days, take the opportunity to go out early in the morning to walk the walls or go up to the cathedral as you’ll have those places almost entirely to yourself!
I just come with my wife to celebrate my birthday in Spain, especially we chose Palau Fugit for good reviews. Guy name “I’m the manager” treat us with really bad education, when we han a reservation for our breakfast for 9:30 he said us, breakfast Service is closed so we can make a lunch at 13pm. Hotel is very nice and receptionist and bar personal are very nice and they help us with everything. Just that guy named “I’m manager” was very uncomfortable for our experience.
l'emplacement le petit déjeuner le confort la terrasse
la salle de bain dans la chambre mais non séparée
Estaba cerca de todo.
Amazing location. Staff especially Tina and Sergi were awesome. The breakfast was good but not great! Eggs cold.
Really everything was fantastic. Beds comfy, room cool and dark. Cannot beat the location.
Breakfast was served like English afternoon tea. Food lovely but would get a little boring if at hotel for long stay.
Didn't like the washbasin in the bedroom but got used to it.
the location, the architecture and design
Very disappointing stay at a four-star hotel. Service was poor throughout—staff were unhelpful with basic requests and showed little care.
After we left, the hotel didn’t contact us about two jackets we had forgotten. When we followed up, there was no apology, and items were missing, which is very concerning.
The concierge was also the rudest I have ever encountered. Very stingy breakfast.
Overall, a clear lack of professionalism and attention to guests.
We had a fantastic stay at Pulau Fugit! The location right in the vibrant heart of Girona is unbeatable – everything is within walking distance, from great restaurants to charming streets and sights. Despite being so central, the hotel felt like a calm and stylish retreat. Highly recommended for a city trip with a touch of comfort and character!
Completely impractical for active travellers. Staff very inflexible.
If you want cool cocktails then it might be OK - but even then it's expensive for the quality - there are better options all around Girona.
Rooms are small.
Parking is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and car access is awkward.
Bike storage isn't in the hotel - it's in a basement 200m up the hill.
Breakfast is a small selection of bits - ONE croissant, ONE small yoghurt and weird eggs. I asked for boiled eggs - was told chef couldn't do that. Asked for some granola or oats - was told NO. Asked for breakfast 15 mins earlier = hard no.
Feels like guests are an inconvenience to be honest - reception more interested in taking calls than helping paying guests.
Some of the decor and architecture is nice, and beds are good. Our rooms didn't have bathrooms - the shower and toilet open directly into the room - weird and ended up with water everywhere.
We won't be back.
