Location Location
Pros:

The accommodation was spacious, clean, and in a fantastic location with many restaurants and bars just a short walk away. It was also within easy walking distance of Old Quebec historic town centre, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

The apartment was comfortably large enough for two adults travelling with large suitcases and having a lift was a welcome convenience. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with and the check-in and check-out process was simple and seamless.

Pros:

Located across Museum of Civilization in quieter part of Old Quebec. Walk through art galleries to shopping, cafés and restaurants. Comfortable accommodations and quiet. Accessible to bike rentals and trails. 5-minute walk to ferry to town of Levis; beautiful views of Old Quebec when you return on the ferry after dark. Traveling using public transportation: (to YQB airport) Take Bus 1 from across Museum of Civilization to Dorchester on Blvd. Charest E.; (to Montmorency Falls) after getting off Bus 1, walk a block to take Bus 800 to Montmorency Falls. Isle D’Orleans can be accessible from Montmorency Falls using UBER or other Taxi.

Pros:

Excellent location, safe. Inside, it is super clean with great linens, towels and well stocked dishes pots etc. wonderful appliances and tv. Free laundry was awesome and upper deck has beautiful views

Cons:

The air conditioner is in the living room and does nothing for the bedroom that get really hot in there. Needs a cooling AC unit in the bedroom too. People in units above, the sound of them are walking is very loud. We had a group that was like a herd of elephants for hours! Put carpets down in living/ area to muffle sound.

Pros:

We love the location, and the whole process was great. Our second time here. We had very specific requests due to some chemical sensitivities with cleaning supplies. They were extremely helpful and very responsive. We will definitely be back. The "negatives" below are only suggestions. We absolutely love this place, but a few things stand out that should be changed. We travel extensively, and we love this place.

Cons:

The bed frames are probably one of the worst decisions I have seen at a hotel. Our first stay my girlfriend fell very badly after hitting the protruding bedframe. This stay we both left with several bruises, scrapes on our shins. They take up a ton of extra space as well. They should be removed. Curtains for doors is also horrible. Barn doors would be much better. Having only 1 heat vent for a two bed/two bath unit does not work. Living room was freezing, and bedrooms were hot. Need to provide at least one coffee or tea for first morning after arrival

Excellent Old Town Quebec location for exploring the city
Pros:

Les Lofts de La Barricade is located in the lower section of Old Town. Allows for easy walking access to all of Old Quebec. Excellent breakfast restaurant 3 minutes walk away (L’Antiquare Buffet), dinner at La Pizz in Place Royale, also minutes away. Can park right around the corner at SPAQ. Loft itself is more than adequate space, with a full sized refrigerator, eating area with table for 4-6, small living room with comfortable couch and TV. Sleeping area is tight but bed is comfortable. Small,single sink bathroom with good sized shower. No notable outside noise or noise from other buildings occupants.

Cons:

Nothing except bedroom space is a little tight.

Un sejour dans le centre à choisir si les compagnons de voyage sont peu bruyants
Pros:

Appartement 501: Les chambres complétement indépendantes avec deux salles de bains. Une des chambres et le séjour ont une vue rivière. La terrasse est trés jolies (bien que non utilisée car très froid). L'emplacement, juste au pieds du funiculaire pour la ville haute est top pour la ville. Il y a toutes les installations dont on peut avoir besoin (machine à laver en commun, etc...)

Cons:

Les cloisons ne sont pas isolées. Même une conversation à voix basse est entendue dans les pièces à côté.
L'interrupteur des lumières de chevet de la chambre 1 allumait (ou éteignait) les lumières d'un des chevets de la chambre 2. Beaucoup d'anomalies d'éléctricité (interrupteurs n'allumant rien ou des prises commandées non utilisées...)

Merveilleux!
Pros:

La propreté, l’emplacement …..toute était parfait!

Cons:

Le stationnement avait été payé d’avance et un soir nous sommes arrivés plus tard et il était plein. J’ai contacté l’endroit par téléphone et la dame m’a tout simplement avisée d’aller dans un autre stationnement et qu’ils allaient me rembourser! J’ai trouvé l’idée assez stupide!
