Idyllic but a few teething problems
Pros:

The location was stunning and the bay/ cove was beautiful. Very secure and safe. The breakfast was brilliant as you had the choice of both buffet (great food) and the a la carte menu (also great food). Good selection of restaurants and bars around the hotel.

Cons:

We did not like the fact that dogs were allowed in the restaurant and one was even allowed to sit on the chairs and eat from a plate that other guests would eat on. This was pretty poor and staff did and said nothing to the client about this. The room we were in, which was a one bedroom suite had aircon and when you close the doors between the sofa area (where our daughter slept) and the bedroom, the aircon did nothing in the bedroom side and was too hot in the room.
There were continual issues with Hyde guests using the Mondrian pool and some days being told they could not and other days nothing was said. Then another day people were using large inflatables in the pool with no issue and then other days they were told they could not use them and to read the pool rules.
So there were a lot of inconsistencies.

Avoid this hotel – not worth 5 stars
Pros:

Overall, it was a nightmare experience for us. We regret booking this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The room was okay, but that’s the only positive thing we can say.

Cons:

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the Mondrian Hotel. This place doesn’t feel like a proper hotel but more like a hostel with a few independent restaurants attached to it. The pool areas look nothing like the pictures – there are no regular loungers available unless you pay extra, and bringing your own drinks (even water) is not allowed, which forces you to constantly buy overpriced items on-site. They also blocked €100 per night on our credit card without informing us in advance, which felt very untransparent. There’s no water refill station anywhere, which you would at least expect in a supposed 5-star hotel. It was promised to is that they would have vegan options, which wasn‘t the case at all.

Travel Advisor staying for Closing Parties
Pros:

Our stay at Hyde Ibiza was the best. I love Calle Llongo and the proximity to Talamanca was perfect for us. The room!! Wonderful size and space. We especially loved the dj set channel so we could keep the vibes going before heading to closing parties.
We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and appreciated the staff who, while closing the day we left, were so helpful with taxis and keeping us aware of what was open or might be closed.

Not worth the money
Pros:

Stones throw from the beach

Cons:

I felt the actually hotel appears as very cheaply run while trying to look expensive. My hotel room was cleaned to the highest standard possible but the foundations were dirty. Possibly due to the nature of holidays in Ibiza but if a hotel is advertised as luxury then you would expect that feel.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

Having recently been refurbished the Mondrian is super stylish internally with a luxurious feel throughout.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Jose who helped with our luggage. Lovely Teresa showed us to our beautiful room with the biggest terrace that I have ever seen! The room was clean and spacious and had sensational views, it was a magical spot to watch the sunrise which I enjoyed daily.

At breakfast I was most impressed with Nadia. She was so capable, in control and organised in a very busy environment. She is a huge asset to the hotel.

The pool area is great to chill out and people watch. The DJ’s were brilliant. Carla and Miguel were so friendly and happy in their work.

When we arrived back from dinner one evening we had the pleasure of chatting to Carlos. He was bubbly and had wonderful energy.

Charming and charismatic general manager Adam and his assistant Ruth both made us feel extremely welcome, and helped to make our stay extra special.

I would highly recommend!!
