Prima verblijf in verzorgd ciy hotel
Pros:

Prima locatie centraal gelegen maar toch rustig.
Zeer verzorgde kamer licht en luchtig. Sober maar met smaak en zeer functioneel ingericht. Badkamer prima en 2 aparte kledingkasten zeker een pluspunt
Mooi pand historisch gebouw dat werd genenoveerd

Cons:

Omwille van de onvoorziene staking van de luchtverkeersleiding in Zaventem konden we noodgedwongen niet vertrekken en zijn we een dag later gearriveerd. We hebben het hotel hiervan onmiddellijk geïnformeerd. Het totaal bedrag van 2 overnachtingen werd reeds betaald ingehouden door booking.com. Hier kan het hotel natuurlijk niets aan doen maar ze hadden wel een kleine attentie of tegemoetkoming kunnen voorzien vb drankje of aanbod latere,uitchecj? Onthaal was vriendelijk correct maar zonder meer. Kwaliteit WiFi kan beter.

Bella cittadina e hotel perfetto
Pros:

Posizione centralissima, bel palazzo accogliente pulito e organizzato per gli ospiti. Personale gentilissimo, camere spaziose e bagno con doccia grande.

Lots of walking around the old town - lovely cool hotel to arrive back to.
Pros:

The friendly welcome and letting us have our room an hour early as it was ready. We were prepared to just leave our luggage and go for a stroll. Also arranging for our bottle of sherry to be put on ice and brought up to our room. Central location and easy to walk everywhere. Very spacious room and lovely bed and bathroom. Easy and cheap public parking very close to the hotel.

30 minuter för incheckning. Spanskt körkort, kopia på pass och bevis på att vi är residenta i Spanien räckte inte för front desk personen som ville ha ett fysiskt pass som bevis att vi var dom vi utgav oss vara. Hon skyllde detta på att hennes chefer som krävde detta.

We’ve already booked to return (with our own teabags and mugs!)
Pros:

We had a problem with our car hire company. The receptionist was excellent in contacting them and then going through the automated responses (in Spanish presumably) before getting a real human for us to speak to.

Cons:

Minor issues. Whilst not critical, we would like a bath robe! Also some UK teabags, although we found a shop that sold them. Cups/mugs to small for our liking.

A wonderful building but a disappointing stay

Great location. Helpful receptionist. Good value for location.

Cons:

In our first room the fan and fridge was not working and safe hadn’t been reset. We were moved to another room - there only one bath towel. The room was very bland dominated by a huge TV. Could have been a Holiday Express. There was no place to plug in a phone on one side of bed.

The location for breakfast was frankly weird. There were so many lounge areas and a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs, however we were squashed into the bar area with low seating. Alternatively we could sit in a corridor leading from the reception area! Fresh fruit on offer for breakfast the first day was a tiny bowl of raspberries. I ate them all. The second day there was also blueberries, but the raspberries were still frozen! I asked for a spoon to eat my cereal and was given a teaspoon and told that was the largest they had. One wonders how anyone eats soup!

The lounging areas are filled with a mish mash of art with modern paintings and sculptures interspersed with old classic paintings and sculptures. It looked like someone had been to an auction and bought one of everything!

Finally the ‘solarium’ on the roof. See pictures!! A few loungers and troughs full of weeds. Very sad. I get the feeling this hotel needs a shake up because it could be wonderful and then they could charge more.

Pros:

Good location. Clean. Cristina (the woman working the reception desk) was fantastic! Very warm and caring. In my business I would love to have her.

Cons:

The breakfast was lacking. For the rating and overall quality of the hotel the breakfast was disappointing!
